According to the police, the total estimated value of the recovered smartphones is approximately ₹25.30 lakh, making it one of the notable public service initiatives undertaken by the range in recent weeks.

Police officials explained that the recovered devices included mobile phones reported missing as recently as three days earlier as well as devices that had remained untraced for nearly four years. The recoveries were made using digital tracking capabilities available through the CEIR system, which allows law enforcement agencies to identify and trace lost mobile devices using their IMEI numbers. प्रशासन द्वारा इस घटना से पूरी तरह दूरी बना लेने के बाद अब जांच एजेंसियों के सामने सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही है कि आखिर इस कथित संपत्ति को गिराने के पीछे कौन लोग थे और उनका उद्देश्य क्या था। यदि यह सरकारी कार्रवाई नहीं थी, तो क्या किसी आपराधिक गिरोह ने इसे अंजाम दिया? क्या यह किसी गैंगवार का हिस्सा था? या फिर इसके पीछे कोई और कारण था? फिलहाल पुलिस ने आधिकारिक रूप से किसी भी संभावना से इनकार नहीं किया है और सभी पहलुओं की जांच किए जाने की बात कही जा रही है। जब तक जांच पूरी नहीं होती, तब तक इस घटना के पीछे की वास्तविक कहानी सामने आना बाकी है।
बब्बर खालसा इंटरनेशनल को लेकर पूछे गए सवाल पर आईजी ने साधी चुप्पी

बीकानेर, श्रीगंगानगर और हनुमानगढ़ जैसे राजस्थान के सीमावर्ती जिले पाकिस्तान से लगती अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा के कारण राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से अत्यंत संवेदनशील माने जाते हैं। अतीत में विभिन्न जांच एजेंसियों ने कई बार ऐसे मामलों का खुलासा किया है जिनमें सीमा के रास्ते हथियार, विस्फोटक, मादक पदार्थ और अन्य प्रतिबंधित सामग्री भारत में पहुंचाने की कोशिश की गई। सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने यह भी स्वीकार किया है कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा पर लगातार निगरानी और आधुनिक तकनीक का उपयोग इसलिए किया जाता है ताकि किसी भी प्रकार की घुसपैठ, तस्करी या आतंकी गतिविधि को समय रहते रोका जा सके। हालांकि वर्तमान में राजस्थान में बब्बर खालसा के किसी बड़े सक्रिय नेटवर्क की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की गई है, लेकिन सुरक्षा एजेंसियां किसी भी संभावना को नजरअंदाज नहीं करतीं।
सोशल मीडिया सेल की बड़ी उपलब्धि, 30 दिन में 100 गुमशुदा मोबाइल फोन बरामद
प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान आईजी ओमप्रकाश ने बीकानेर रेंज पुलिस की एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि की भी जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि रेंज कार्यालय की सोशल मीडिया सेल ने केंद्रीय उपकरण पहचान रजिस्टर (CEIR) पोर्टल की सहायता से केवल 30 दिनों के भीतर 100 गुमशुदा मोबाइल फोन सफलतापूर्वक ट्रेस कर उनके वास्तविक मालिकों को वापस सौंप दिए हैं। इन मोबाइल फोन की अनुमानित कीमत लगभग 25.30 लाख रुपये बताई गई है। पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार यह अभियान तकनीकी दक्षता और प्रभावी समन्वय का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है।
तीन दिन पहले खोए मोबाइल से लेकर चार साल पुराने फोन तक हुए बरामद
पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बरामद किए गए मोबाइल फोन केवल हाल ही में गुम हुए उपकरण नहीं थे, बल्कि इनमें ऐसे मोबाइल भी शामिल थे जो लगभग चार वर्ष पहले खो गए थे। CEIR पोर्टल और आधुनिक तकनीकी ट्रैकिंग व्यवस्था के माध्यम से पुलिस ने इन सभी मोबाइल फोन की पहचान की, उन्हें ट्रेस किया और विधिवत सत्यापन के बाद उनके वास्तविक मालिकों को लौटाया। इस अभियान से आम नागरिकों में पुलिस के प्रति विश्वास भी मजबूत हुआ है और तकनीक आधारित पुलिसिंग की उपयोगिता एक बार फिर सामने आई है।
बीकानेर सहित कई जिलों में दर्ज शिकायतों पर हुई कार्रवाई
आईजी ने बताया कि यह अभियान केवल बीकानेर जिले तक सीमित नहीं था। बीकानेर, श्रीगंगानगर, हनुमानगढ़, चूरू सहित राजस्थान के विभिन्न जिलों में दर्ज गुमशुदगी की रिपोर्टों के आधार पर मोबाइल फोन ट्रेस किए गए। विभिन्न जिलों की पुलिस इकाइयों, तकनीकी विशेषज्ञों और दूरसंचार कंपनियों के समन्वय से इस अभियान को सफल बनाया गया। जिन लोगों के मोबाइल फोन वापस मिले, उन्होंने पुलिस की इस पहल की सराहना भी की।
एक ही प्रेस वार्ता में उपलब्धि भी, विवाद भी और कई अनुत्तरित सवाल भी
