Colonel DPLT Kaluaggala Promoted to Brigadier at College of Defence Management

The College of Defence Management (CDM) congratulated Colonel DPLT Kaluaggala of the Sri Lanka Army on his promotion to the rank of Brigadier, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished military career.
Brigadier Kaluaggala is an international participant of the Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC)-22 at the College of Defence Management, reflecting the institution’s role in fostering professional military education and strengthening defence cooperation with friendly foreign nations.
In keeping with military tradition, the newly promoted officer’s rank insignia was pinned by Air Vice Marshal G.K.J. Reddy, Commandant, College of Defence Management, during a ceremonial event attended by faculty members and fellow course participants.
The promotion highlights the close defence ties and longstanding military cooperation between India and Sri Lanka, particularly in the field of professional military education and leadership development.
The College of Defence Management extended its congratulations to Brigadier Kaluaggala and conveyed its best wishes for continued success in his future appointments and responsibilities.
