Extract of CNS Address to Officers at NHQ on 21 May 24

Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS made his maiden address to officers posted in Naval Headquarters, New Delhi on 21 May 24.

He emphasised that as the primary manifestation of India’s maritime power, the raison d’etre of Indian Navy is to remain Combat Ready at all times to safeguard national maritime interests “Anytime, Anywhere, Anyhow!”

CNS reminded the NHQ staff of the security environment and consequent actions required by the Navy.

He reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Indian Navy towards AatmaNirbharta, laying emphasis on finding in-house solutions, pole vaulting innovation and embracing niche technologies to address the existing and emerging challenges in the maritime domain to remain a responsive force and ensure maritime security.

He exhorted that as mid/senior level leaders posted in the NHQ, officers must remain focused on being “the solution providers”, “prioritising outcomes” towards a Combat Ready Credible Cohesive, and Future Ready Force.

CNS praised the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the personnel in meeting all mandated tasks by the service.
