In a remarkable story of perseverance, dedication and an unwavering commitment to serving the nation, Cfn Ankan Pruseth of the Indian Army’s Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) has successfully cleared the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview for the SCO-59 Course in October 2026.
Enrolled in the Indian Army’s Corps of EME on 22 June 2016, Pruseth has nurtured a long-standing ambition of earning a commission and serving the nation as an officer. Despite three unsuccessful attempts, he remained steadfast in his pursuit, refusing to let setbacks weaken his determination.
Serving in the Chetak Corps Zone since 20 May 2025, Pruseth continued to work towards his goal with perseverance and dedication. His successful clearance of the SSB interview for the SCO-59 Course marks a significant milestone in his journey towards becoming an officer.
His journey stands as an inspiring example of resilience within the Indian Army, demonstrating that setbacks do not have to end a dream. Instead, with sustained effort, discipline and determination, challenges can become stepping stones towards success.

भारतीय सेना में अधिकारी बनने का सपना, वर्षों की मेहनत और तीन असफल प्रयासों के बाद भी हार न मानने का जज्बा। सेना के कोर ऑफ इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एंड मैकेनिकल इंजीनियर्स (ईएमई) में कार्यरत सीएफएन अंकन प्रुसेथ की कहानी दृढ़ संकल्प, अनुशासन और निरंतर प्रयास की प्रेरक मिसाल है। उन्होंने अक्टूबर 2026 में एससीओ-59 पाठ्यक्रम के लिए सेवा चयन बोर्ड (एसएसबी) का साक्षात्कार सफलतापूर्वक उत्तीर्ण कर लिया है।
अंकन प्रुसेथ 22 जून 2016 को भारतीय सेना के ईएमई कोर में भर्ती हुए थे। सेना में सेवा के साथ-साथ उनके मन में अधिकारी बनकर राष्ट्र की सेवा करने की महत्वाकांक्षा बनी रही। इस लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए उन्होंने कई वर्षों तक प्रयास जारी रखे, लेकिन तीन बार असफल होने के बावजूद उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी।
20 मई 2025 से चेतक कोर क्षेत्र में सेवाएं दे रहे प्रुसेथ ने अपने लक्ष्य की दिशा में लगातार मेहनत जारी रखी। आखिरकार, अक्टूबर 2026 में एससीओ-59 पाठ्यक्रम के लिए एसएसबी साक्षात्कार उत्तीर्ण करना उनकी यात्रा में एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि बनकर सामने आया।
उनकी यह सफलता बताती है कि असफलताएं किसी लक्ष्य तक पहुंचने में देरी कर सकती हैं, लेकिन दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति और निरंतर प्रयास के सामने वे हमेशा के लिए रास्ता बंद नहीं कर सकतीं। प्रुसेथ की यात्रा भारतीय सेना के उन जवानों के लिए प्रेरणा है, जो अपने कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन करते हुए उच्च जिम्मेदारियां संभालने और अधिकारी बनने का सपना देखते हैं।
