In an inspiring initiative that brought together the ideals of patriotism, national integration, and experiential learning, students of Army Public School Jaipur successfully concluded an eight-day Reverse National Integration Tour to the strategically significant Poonch–Saujiyan sector of Jammu & Kashmir. Organized under the aegis of the Indian Army’s Sapta Shakti Command and conducted in close coordination with the Ace of Spades Division under Northern Command, the tour took place from May 10 to May 17, 2026.
For the students, this was far more than a routine educational excursion. It was an emotional and intellectually enriching journey from the plains of Rajasthan to the rugged Himalayan frontiers, where they witnessed firsthand the courage, commitment, and sacrifices of Indian soldiers safeguarding the nation in one of the most sensitive operational environments in the world.

As the students departed from Jaipur, they carried with them a sense of curiosity and excitement. Few among them could have imagined the depth of the experiences that awaited them in the historic and strategically crucial districts of Poonch and Saujiyan.
Nestled amid the Pir Panjal range, the Poonch sector occupies a vital position along the Line of Control (LoC). The region has witnessed some of the fiercest battles in India’s military history and remains central to the country’s security architecture.
During the tour, the students traveled through landscapes that were as breathtaking as they were historically significant. Snow-clad peaks, deep valleys, military posts, and war memorials served as living classrooms, helping the students understand both the beauty and strategic importance of Jammu & Kashmir.

आधुनिक युद्ध तकनीक से परिचय: ड्रोन और यूएवी ने बढ़ाया उत्साह
विद्यार्थियों के लिए सबसे रोमांचक अनुभवों में से एक था भारतीय सेना द्वारा उपयोग किए जा रहे अत्याधुनिक ड्रोन और मानव रहित हवाई प्रणालियों का लाइव प्रदर्शन।
छात्रों ने देखा कि किस प्रकार ये यूएवी सीमाओं की निगरानी, संदिग्ध गतिविधियों की पहचान, दुर्गम क्षेत्रों की टोही और ऑपरेशनल निर्णयों में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
सैन्य अधिकारियों ने उन्हें विस्तार से बताया कि आधुनिक युद्ध अब केवल बंदूकों और टैंकों तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि तकनीक, डेटा और रियल टाइम निगरानी युद्धक्षेत्र की दिशा तय करती है।
इस प्रदर्शन ने कई छात्रों में रक्षा तकनीक, रोबोटिक्स और एयरोस्पेस क्षेत्र के प्रति नई रुचि पैदा की।
आर्टिलरी रेजिमेंट का दौरा: भारतीय सेना की मारक शक्ति का परिचय
यात्रा के दौरान छात्रों ने एक आर्टिलरी रेजिमेंट का भी दौरा किया, जहां उन्हें सेना की शक्तिशाली अग्नि समर्थन क्षमता के बारे में बताया गया।
अधिकारियों ने समझाया कि युद्ध के दौरान तोपखाना किस प्रकार दुश्मन की स्थिति को कमजोर करता है और अग्रिम मोर्चे पर लड़ रही टुकड़ियों को निर्णायक सहायता प्रदान करता है।
छात्रों ने लक्ष्य निर्धारण, फायर कंट्रोल, संचार प्रणाली और समन्वित सैन्य कार्रवाई के तकनीकी पहलुओं के बारे में महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी प्राप्त की।
सौजियां में एलीट राष्ट्रीय राइफल्स बटालियन से मुलाकात
सौजियां स्थित एलीट राष्ट्रीय राइफल्स बटालियन के साथ संवाद विद्यार्थियों के लिए अत्यंत प्रेरणादायी रहा।
राष्ट्रीय राइफल्स के जवानों ने आतंकवाद विरोधी अभियानों, कठिन परिस्थितियों में तैनाती और लगातार सतर्क रहने की आवश्यकता के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
विद्यार्थियों ने सैनिकों से उनके व्यक्तिगत अनुभव सुने और जाना कि सीमाओं पर तैनात रहना केवल एक पेशा नहीं, बल्कि राष्ट्र सेवा का सर्वोच्च उदाहरण है।

यात्रा के दौरान पूंछ युद्ध स्मारक का दौरा एक भावनात्मक और गंभीर क्षण साबित हुआ।
यहां विद्यार्थियों ने उन वीर सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की जिन्होंने मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया।
सैन्य अधिकारियों ने पूंछ क्षेत्र में लड़े गए ऐतिहासिक युद्धों और उनकी रणनीतिक महत्ता के बारे में जानकारी दी।
इस अनुभव ने छात्रों को यह समझाया कि आज देशवासी जिस स्वतंत्रता और सुरक्षा का आनंद लेते हैं, वह अनगिनत बलिदानों की देन है।
