Havildar Jasbir Singh Adjudged Overall Best Student at Leadership & Management Course in Junior Leaders Academy Bareilly

Six-week course for Junior Leaders of the Indian Armed Forces concludes at JLA Bareilly.

The Leadership & Management Course conducted at the Junior Leaders Academy Bareilly (JLA), Bareilly, culminated on May 20, 2026, with Junior Leaders from the Indian Armed Forces successfully completing the prestigious six-week programme.

Brigadier Gaurav Kapoor, Commandant of the academy, addressed the participants and highlighted the crucial role played by Junior Leaders in upholding military ethos, maintaining discipline, and ensuring the highest standards of training and operational readiness.

He emphasised the importance of professional excellence, leadership, and preparedness in meeting the challenges of future battlefields and evolving warfare environments.

Havildar Jasbir Singh of the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles (JAK RIF) was adjudged the Overall Best Student of the course.

The course reflected the continued focus of the Indian Armed Forces on strengthening leadership qualities, professional competence, and combat readiness among Junior Leaders across the services.
