Air Force Academy Dundigal Set to Witness a Landmark Moment in Indian Military Aviation
The Indian Air Force is set to witness a historic and proud moment on June 13, 2026, when the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) of the 217th Course will be held at the prestigious Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal, Hyderabad. The grand military ceremony will mark the successful completion of pre-commissioning training of Flight Cadets belonging to various operational branches of the Indian Air Force and will symbolize their transition from trainees to commissioned military leaders entrusted with safeguarding India’s skies.
Adding immense significance to this year’s parade, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will review the parade as the Reviewing Officer and confer the President’s Commission upon the graduating cadets. The event is expected to showcase military professionalism, aviation excellence, technological prowess, and the evolving face of India’s armed forces, particularly with the commissioning of the first-ever batch of women cadets from the National Defence Academy who have completed their branch-specific Air Force training.

Spectacular Air Displays to Showcase IAF’s Aviation Excellence
The Combined Graduation Parade will not only celebrate military achievements but will also provide a spectacular display of the Indian Air Force’s aviation capabilities.
The event will begin with breathtaking performances by the Akash Ganga Skydiving Team and the Air Warrior Drill Team (AWDT), whose synchronized precision and professionalism have become a hallmark of major Air Force ceremonies.
One of the major attractions of the event will be the fly-pasts led by Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh. The aerial formations will showcase four different trainer aircraft that form the backbone of pilot training within the Indian Air Force.
The aircraft participating in the fly-past include the Pilatus PC-7 Mk II, Hawk Advanced Jet Trainer, Kiran trainer aircraft, and the Chetak helicopter.
These aircraft collectively represent various stages of pilot development, from basic flying training to advanced jet training, demonstrating the comprehensive nature of the Air Force’s pilot training ecosystem.
Su-30 MKI, Sarang and Suryakiran to Steal the Show
The skies above Dundigal are expected to come alive with some of the Indian Air Force’s most celebrated aerial demonstration teams.
The powerful Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft will perform high-speed manoeuvres showcasing the combat capabilities of one of India’s most advanced frontline fighter platforms.
The Sarang Helicopter Display Team, known for its precision flying and complex helicopter formations, will perform breathtaking aerial routines that demonstrate the skill and coordination of IAF helicopter pilots.
Adding colour and excitement to the ceremony will be the world-renowned Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT), whose synchronized formations and aerobatic displays have become symbols of Indian Air Force professionalism and excellence.

एयर फोर्स अकादमी डुंडीगल में 13 जून को दिखेगा भारतीय सैन्य शक्ति, अनुशासन और नई पीढ़ी के वायु योद्धाओं का भव्य संगम
13 जून 2026 को हैदराबाद स्थित भारतीय वायुसेना की प्रतिष्ठित एयर फोर्स अकादमी (AFA), डुंडीगल में आयोजित होने वाली 217वें कोर्स की संयुक्त स्नातक परेड (Combined Graduation Parade) भारतीय सैन्य इतिहास का एक महत्वपूर्ण अध्याय बनने जा रही है। यह केवल एक पासिंग आउट परेड नहीं होगी, बल्कि उन युवा कैडेटों के वर्षों के कठिन प्रशिक्षण, अनुशासन, समर्पण और देशसेवा के संकल्प का उत्सव होगी जो अब भारतीय वायुसेना के अधिकारी के रूप में अपनी नई यात्रा शुरू करने जा रहे हैं।
इस भव्य समारोह की सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यह होगी कि देश के रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह स्वयं परेड के रिव्यूइंग ऑफिसर के रूप में उपस्थित रहेंगे और सफल प्रशिक्षुओं को राष्ट्रपति आयोग (President’s Commission) प्रदान करेंगे। इस अवसर पर भारतीय वायुसेना, भारतीय नौसेना, भारतीय तटरक्षक बल तथा मित्र राष्ट्र वियतनाम के अधिकारियों और प्रशिक्षुओं को उनके प्रशिक्षण की सफल पूर्णता पर विंग्स और ब्रेवेट्स भी प्रदान किए जाएंगे।
पहली बार NDA की महिला कैडेटों को मिलेगा वायुसेना अधिकारी बनने का गौरव
इस वर्ष की संयुक्त स्नातक परेड का सबसे ऐतिहासिक और प्रेरणादायक पहलू राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी (NDA), पुणे की पहली महिला कैडेट बैच का कमीशन प्राप्त करना होगा।
वर्ष 2025 में NDA से पास आउट होने के बाद इन महिला कैडेटों ने एयर फोर्स अकादमी में शाखा-विशिष्ट प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया। अब वे भारतीय वायुसेना में अधिकारी के रूप में शामिल होने जा रही हैं। यह केवल इन कैडेटों की व्यक्तिगत उपलब्धि नहीं बल्कि भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों में महिलाओं की बढ़ती भूमिका और लैंगिक समानता की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है।
उनकी यह उपलब्धि आने वाली पीढ़ियों की हजारों युवा महिलाओं के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत बनेगी और यह संदेश देगी कि भारतीय रक्षा बलों में अब अवसर क्षमता और योग्यता के आधार पर उपलब्ध हैं।
राष्ट्रपति आयोग के साथ शुरू होगी नई सैन्य यात्रा
संयुक्त स्नातक परेड किसी भी कैडेट के जीवन का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण दिन माना जाता है। वर्षों के कठिन प्रशिक्षण, शारीरिक क्षमता, उड़ान कौशल, सैन्य अनुशासन और नेतृत्व क्षमता की परीक्षा के बाद यह वह क्षण होता है जब प्रशिक्षु आधिकारिक रूप से भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों के अधिकारी बनते हैं।
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह द्वारा प्रदान किया जाने वाला राष्ट्रपति आयोग भारतीय गणराज्य की ओर से दिया जाने वाला सर्वोच्च सैन्य अधिकार है, जो इन युवा अधिकारियों को देश की सेवा के लिए अधिकृत करेगा।
इस अवसर पर सफल फ्लाइट कैडेट्स को प्रतिष्ठित “विंग्स” भी प्रदान की जाएंगी, जो हर सैन्य पायलट के लिए गर्व, सम्मान और उपलब्धि का प्रतीक मानी जाती हैं।
वायुसेना प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल एपी सिंह के नेतृत्व में होगा भव्य फ्लाई-पास्ट
समारोह के दौरान भारतीय वायुसेना प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल एपी सिंह के नेतृत्व में शानदार फ्लाई-पास्ट आयोजित किया जाएगा। इस फ्लाई-पास्ट में भारतीय वायुसेना के प्रशिक्षण ढांचे की रीढ़ माने जाने वाले चार प्रमुख प्रशिक्षण विमानों का प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा।
इनमें पिलाटस PC-7 Mk-II, हॉक एडवांस्ड जेट ट्रेनर, किरण ट्रेनर विमान और चेतक हेलीकॉप्टर शामिल होंगे। ये सभी प्लेटफॉर्म भारतीय वायुसेना के पायलट प्रशिक्षण के विभिन्न चरणों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं और यह दर्शाते हैं कि किस प्रकार एक युवा कैडेट को धीरे-धीरे एक युद्धक पायलट में परिवर्तित किया जाता है।
सुखोई-30 एमकेआई, सारंग और सूर्यकिरण टीम बनेंगी आकर्षण का केंद्र
संयुक्त स्नातक परेड में इस बार भारतीय वायुसेना की कुछ सबसे प्रसिद्ध हवाई प्रदर्शन टीमें भी हिस्सा लेंगी। अत्याधुनिक सुखोई-30 एमकेआई लड़ाकू विमान अपनी शक्ति, गति और युद्धक क्षमता का प्रदर्शन करेंगे।
इसके साथ ही सारंग हेलीकॉप्टर डिस्प्ले टीम अपने रोमांचक हवाई करतबों से दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध करेगी। वहीं विश्व प्रसिद्ध सूर्यकिरण एरोबेटिक टीम अपनी रंगीन और सटीक हवाई संरचनाओं के माध्यम से भारतीय वायुसेना की पेशेवर क्षमता और उत्कृष्टता का प्रदर्शन करेगी।
आकाश गंगा और एयर वॉरियर ड्रिल टीम दिखाएंगी अद्भुत सैन्य कौशल
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत भारतीय वायुसेना की प्रसिद्ध आकाश गंगा स्काईडाइविंग टीम और एयर वॉरियर ड्रिल टीम के प्रदर्शन से होगी। इन टीमों द्वारा प्रदर्शित किया जाने वाला अनुशासन, तालमेल और पेशेवर दक्षता भारतीय वायुसेना की प्रशिक्षण संस्कृति और सैन्य उत्कृष्टता को दर्शाएगा।
राष्ट्र के सामने तैयार होंगे भविष्य के वायु योद्धा
एयर फोर्स अकादमी की यह परेड केवल एक समारोह नहीं बल्कि भारतीय वायु शक्ति के भविष्य का प्रदर्शन भी है। आज जब आधुनिक युद्ध तकनीक, ड्रोन, नेटवर्क-सेंट्रिक ऑपरेशन और बहुआयामी सुरक्षा चुनौतियां तेजी से बदल रही हैं, ऐसे समय में इन नए अधिकारियों की भूमिका और अधिक महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है।
ये युवा अधिकारी आने वाले वर्षों में देश की वायु सीमाओं की सुरक्षा, सामरिक अभियानों और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी संभालेंगे।
देशभर के दर्शक देख सकेंगे सीधा प्रसारण
भारतीय वायुसेना ने इस ऐतिहासिक समारोह को देशभर के नागरिकों तक पहुंचाने की विशेष व्यवस्था की है। 13 जून 2026 को सुबह 7 बजे से इस संयुक्त स्नातक परेड का सीधा प्रसारण भारतीय वायुसेना के सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स तथा डीडी नेशनल पर किया जाएगा।
यह आयोजन न केवल नए अधिकारियों के जीवन का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षण होगा, बल्कि पूरे देश के लिए गर्व, प्रेरणा और भारतीय सैन्य शक्ति के प्रदर्शन का अवसर भी बनेगा।
