IAF carried out a daring rescue of six people stranded atop a JCB in flood-stricken Nainpaka village in Telangana
In yet another exemplary case of providing Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) emergency response to the civilian brethren, two Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopters got airborne from Air Force Station Hakimpet, Hyderabad and carried out a daring rescue of six people stranded atop a JCB in flood-stricken Nainpaka village that falls under Bhupalpalle district in Telangana State.
It has always been the endeavour of the IAF to rise to the occasion in not only defending the territorial skies but always ameliorating the lives of the people against the vagaries of the weather in undertaking HADR operations under extremely adverse situations.
Air Force Station Hakimpet under the Training Command is always known to be at the forefront, to undertake challenging missions to support the civil administration towards saving the precious lives of fellow citizens.
The IAF trains the Air Warriors to exhibit high standards of professionalism to face any kind of unfavourable condition to support the national cause, aligned with “Nation First and Always”.
