आईसीएसआई की नई पहलों से युवाओं, एमएसएमई और कंपनी सचिवों को मिलेगा लाभ
बीकानेर: भारतीय कंपनी सचिव संस्थान (आईसीएसआई) ने विद्यार्थियों, युवा पेशेवरों, करियर ब्रेक के बाद पेशे में लौटने वाली महिला कंपनी सचिवों और सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्यमों यानी एमएसएमई के लिए कई नई पहल शुरू की हैं। इन पहलों का उद्देश्य कौशल विकास, रोजगार एवं इंटर्नशिप के अवसर बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ कॉरपोरेट गवर्नेंस और नियामकीय अनुपालन को मजबूत करना है।
आईसीएसआई के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष पवन चांडक और बीकानेर चैप्टर की चेयरपर्सन खुशबू कोठारी ने बीकानेर में संस्थान की विभिन्न नई पहलों और आगामी कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि संस्थान उभरते कॉरपोरेट क्षेत्रों में पेशेवर कौशल विकसित करने, युवाओं को व्यावहारिक अनुभव उपलब्ध कराने और एमएसएमई क्षेत्र को अनुपालन संबंधी सहायता देने की दिशा में काम कर रहा है।
पवन चांडक ने बताया कि आईसीएसआई का पहला ग्लोबल कॉरपोरेट गवर्नेंस सम्मेलन 8 और 9 जनवरी 2027 को मुंबई में आयोजित किया जाएगा। सम्मेलन में सरकारी अधिकारियों, पेशेवरों, उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधियों, शिक्षाविदों और नियामकों की भागीदारी होगी। इसी अवसर पर कॉरपोरेट गवर्नेंस में उत्कृष्टता के लिए आईसीएसआई राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार के 26वें संस्करण का भी आयोजन किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने बताया कि विद्यार्थियों और संस्थान के सदस्यों के कौशल विकास के लिए कई नए पाठ्यक्रम शुरू किए गए हैं। इनमें इंटरनेशनल फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज सेंटर में निधि प्रबंधन तथा पूंजी बाजार मध्यस्थों के नियामकीय ढांचे से जुड़े पाठ्यक्रम शामिल हैं। करियर में अंतराल के बाद दोबारा पेशे में लौटने वाली महिला कंपनी सचिवों के लिए विशेष प्रमाणपत्र पाठ्यक्रम भी शुरू किया गया है।
बीकानेर चैप्टर की चेयरपर्सन खुशबू कोठारी ने बताया कि आईसीएसआई और गुजरात मैरीटाइम यूनिवर्सिटी के संयुक्त प्रयास से समुद्री विनियम एवं अनुपालन प्रबंधन में दो वर्षीय पूर्णकालिक एमबीए कार्यक्रम शुरू किया गया है। इसके अलावा कंपनी एवं प्रतिभूति बाजार अनुपालन, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात में व्यावसायिक प्रबंधन तथा ऑनलाइन विवाद समाधान, डिजिटल मध्यस्थता और सुलह से जुड़े प्रमाणपत्र पाठ्यक्रम भी शुरू किए गए हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि आईसीएसआई प्रधानमंत्री इंटर्नशिप योजना से जुड़ने वाला पहला पेशेवर संस्थान बना है। इसके तहत पंजीकृत कंपनी सचिव फर्म युवाओं को इंटर्नशिप के अवसर उपलब्ध कराएंगी। इससे विद्यार्थियों और युवाओं को पेशेवर वातावरण में काम करने तथा व्यावहारिक अनुभव हासिल करने का अवसर मिलेगा।
पवन चांडक ने कॉरपोरेट मित्र योजना की भी जानकारी दी। इस पहल के माध्यम से सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्यमों को नियामकीय अनुपालन, वस्तु एवं सेवा कर, लेखांकन, वित्तीय मार्गदर्शन, लागत लेखांकन और कंपनी सचिवीय सेवाओं में सहायता उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रशिक्षित पेशेवरों का समूह तैयार किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने बताया कि भारतीय प्रतिभूति एवं विनिमय बोर्ड के सहयोग से छोटे और मध्यम उद्यमों के लिए निधि जुटाने के विभिन्न माध्यमों को लेकर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं। वहीं राष्ट्रीय कृषि एवं ग्रामीण विकास बैंक के सहयोग से गैर-लाभकारी संस्थाओं को सोशल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज में पंजीकरण और सूचीबद्धता की प्रक्रिया के बारे में जानकारी दी जा रही है।
खुशबू कोठारी ने बताया कि आईसीएसआई पर्यावरण, सामाजिक और प्रशासन यानी ईएसजी से जुड़े विषयों पर भी लगातार काम कर रहा है। इसके तहत जिम्मेदार निवेश के लिए मार्गदर्शक सिद्धांत, ईएसजी सहभागिता संबंधी मार्गदर्शिका, कार्यस्थल पर यौन उत्पीड़न की रोकथाम से जुड़े अनुपालन मानक और सामाजिक लेखा परीक्षण से संबंधित पहल शामिल हैं।
आईसीएसआई के अनुसार संस्थान में 80 हजार से अधिक सदस्य और करीब 2.5 लाख विद्यार्थी हैं। संस्थान कंपनी सचिव पेशे के विकास के साथ कॉरपोरेट गवर्नेंस, नियामकीय अनुपालन और पेशेवर क्षमता निर्माण को मजबूत करने की दिशा में विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों और पहलों को आगे बढ़ा रहा है।
ICSI Unveils New Initiatives to Empower Youth, MSMEs and Company Secretaries
Bikaner: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced a series of new initiatives aimed at creating greater opportunities for students, young professionals, women returning to the profession and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), while strengthening corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
ICSI National President Pawan Chandak and Bikaner Chapter Chairperson Khushboo Kothari shared details of the institute’s new initiatives and upcoming programmes in Bikaner. They highlighted the organisation’s focus on professional skill development, emerging areas of corporate practice, internship opportunities and support for the MSME sector.
Pawan Chandak said ICSI will organise its first Global Corporate Governance Conference on January 8 and 9, 2027, in Mumbai. The conference is expected to bring together government officials, professionals, industry representatives, academics and regulators for discussions on corporate governance and related issues. The 26th edition of the ICSI National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Governance will also be organised on the occasion.
The institute has introduced several new courses aimed at enhancing the skills and professional capabilities of students and members. These include programmes related to fund management in International Financial Services Centres and the regulatory framework governing capital-market intermediaries. A specialised certificate course has also been introduced for women company secretaries seeking to return to the profession after a career break.
Khushboo Kothari said that ICSI, in collaboration with Gujarat Maritime University, has launched a two-year full-time MBA programme in Maritime Regulations and Compliance Management. The institute has also introduced certificate programmes covering company and securities-market compliance, business management in the United Arab Emirates, online dispute resolution, digital mediation and conciliation.
ICSI has also become the first professional institute to join the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme. Under the initiative, registered company secretary firms will provide internship opportunities to young people, helping them gain practical exposure and professional experience.
Another major initiative highlighted by Chandak was the Corporate Mitra programme. Under this initiative, a trained pool of professionals is being developed to assist MSMEs with regulatory compliance, Goods and Services Tax, accounting, financial guidance, cost accounting and company secretarial services.
The institute is also conducting awareness programmes in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India to educate small and medium enterprises about avenues for raising funds. In association with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, ICSI is also creating awareness among non-profit organisations about the registration and listing process on the Social Stock Exchange.
ICSI Bikaner Chapter Chairperson Khushboo Kothari further highlighted the institute’s initiatives in the areas of Environmental, Social and Governance issues. These include guiding principles for responsible investment, ESG-related guidance, compliance standards concerning prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace and initiatives related to social audits.
According to ICSI, the institute currently has more than 80,000 members and around 2.5 lakh students. Through its new programmes and initiatives, the institute is seeking to expand professional opportunities while contributing to stronger corporate governance, regulatory compliance and capacity building across the corporate ecosystem.
