सप्त शक्ति कमांड और BITS पिलानी की ऐतिहासिक साझेदारी: स्वदेशी रक्षा तकनीक और ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ की दिशा में बड़ा कदम
रक्षा आधुनिकीकरण की दिशा में एक निर्णायक पहल
भारतीय सेना के पश्चिमी क्षेत्र में तैनात सप्त शक्ति कमांड ने 20 अप्रैल 2026 को एक महत्वपूर्ण रणनीतिक कदम उठाते हुए बिरला इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी एंड साइंस (BITS), पिलानी के साथ अनुसंधान, विकास और तकनीकी नवाचार के क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। जयपुर स्थित सप्त शक्ति कमांड मुख्यालय में संपन्न यह समझौता न केवल एक औपचारिक साझेदारी है, बल्कि यह भारत की बदलती रक्षा रणनीति का प्रतीक भी है, जिसमें आधुनिक युद्धक्षेत्र की चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए तकनीकी क्षमता को प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है।
आज के समय में जब युद्ध केवल सीमाओं तक सीमित नहीं रहा और साइबर, स्पेस, ड्रोन तथा इलेक्ट्रॉनिक युद्ध जैसे नए आयाम जुड़ चुके हैं, तब सेना और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के बीच इस प्रकार की साझेदारी देश की सामरिक मजबूती को नई दिशा देने वाली साबित हो सकती है।
नेतृत्व स्तर पर हुई पहल: सैन्य अनुभव और अकादमिक विशेषज्ञता का संगम
इस समझौते पर सप्त शक्ति कमांड के आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मंजिंदर सिंह और BITS पिलानी के ग्रुप वाइस चांसलर प्रोफेसर वी. रामगोपाल राव ने हस्ताक्षर किए। यह केवल दो संस्थानों के बीच सहयोग नहीं, बल्कि दो अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों—सैन्य संचालन और उच्च शिक्षा—के बीच एक मजबूत सेतु का निर्माण है।
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मंजिंदर सिंह ने अपने संबोधन में स्पष्ट किया कि आने वाले समय में युद्ध की प्रकृति पूरी तरह तकनीक आधारित होगी, जहां निर्णय लेने की गति, सटीकता और सूचना का विश्लेषण निर्णायक भूमिका निभाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय सेना को भविष्य के युद्धों के लिए तैयार रहने के लिए स्वदेशी तकनीकों और नवाचारों को तेजी से अपनाना होगा। वहीं प्रोफेसर वी. रामगोपाल राव ने इस साझेदारी को राष्ट्र निर्माण में BITS पिलानी की प्रतिबद्धता का विस्तार बताया और कहा कि संस्थान अपनी अनुसंधान क्षमता को सेना की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप ढालने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है।
युद्धक्षेत्र और प्रयोगशाला के बीच की दूरी को कम करने का प्रयास
इस समझौते का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण उद्देश्य सैन्य आवश्यकताओं और अकादमिक अनुसंधान के बीच मौजूद दूरी को समाप्त करना है। अब तक भारत में रक्षा अनुसंधान मुख्यतः सरकारी संस्थानों तक सीमित रहा है, लेकिन इस पहल के माध्यम से निजी और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों को भी इस प्रक्रिया में सक्रिय भागीदारी का अवसर मिल रहा है।
BITS पिलानी अब सप्त शक्ति कमांड के साथ मिलकर उन वास्तविक चुनौतियों का अध्ययन करेगा, जिनका सामना सेना पश्चिमी रेगिस्तानी क्षेत्र में करती है। इसमें अत्यधिक तापमान, सीमित संसाधन, निगरानी की जटिलताएं और तेज़ी से सैनिक तैनाती जैसी समस्याएं शामिल हैं। इन चुनौतियों के आधार पर ऐसे समाधान विकसित किए जाएंगे जो केवल सैद्धांतिक न होकर व्यावहारिक और सीधे युद्धक्षेत्र में उपयोगी हों।
तकनीकी क्षेत्रों में व्यापक सहयोग: भविष्य के युद्ध की तैयारी
इस साझेदारी के तहत जिन क्षेत्रों में काम किया जाएगा, वे आधुनिक युद्ध की दिशा को परिभाषित करते हैं। इनमें आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, रोबोटिक्स, ड्रोन तकनीक, साइबर सुरक्षा, संचार प्रणाली और एडवांस्ड मैटेरियल्स जैसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्र शामिल हैं।
BITS पिलानी की अत्याधुनिक प्रयोगशालाएं और अनुसंधान सुविधाएं इन तकनीकों के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगी, जबकि भारतीय सेना अपने फील्ड अनुभव के आधार पर इन तकनीकों को वास्तविक परिस्थितियों में परखने और सुधारने में योगदान देगी। विशेष रूप से रेगिस्तानी क्षेत्रों में काम करने वाली तकनीकों पर जोर दिया जाएगा, जैसे अत्यधिक गर्मी में काम करने वाले सेंसर, स्वायत्त लॉजिस्टिक सिस्टम और सुरक्षित संचार नेटवर्क।
