भारतीय नौसेना के अत्याधुनिक स्टील्थ फ्रिगेट आईएनएस तरकश के 12 जून 2026 को सेशेल्स की राजधानी विक्टोरिया पोर्ट पहुंचने के साथ ही भारत और सेशेल्स के बीच समुद्री सहयोग का एक और महत्वपूर्ण अध्याय जुड़ गया है। दक्षिण-पश्चिम हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में अपनी परिचालन तैनाती के दौरान यह युद्धपोत सेशेल्स पहुंचा, जहां उसका भव्य स्वागत किया गया। यह यात्रा केवल एक नौसैनिक पड़ाव नहीं बल्कि हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में भारत की बढ़ती सामरिक भूमिका, क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा के प्रति उसकी प्रतिबद्धता और मित्र देशों के साथ उसकी गहरी साझेदारी का प्रतीक है।
