IWC Bikaner Extends Warmth and Care to Elderly Women at Lali Bai Bagichi

In a heart-touching initiative under the theme “Reach Out for a Better World – Ageing”, the members of Inner Wheel Club (IWC) Bikaner organized a special outreach program at Lali Bai Bagichi, reaffirming their dedication to community service and elderly care. This project, officially registered as Project No. 13, District No. 305, was held on August 5, 2025, with the sole objective of bringing comfort, dignity, and companionship to senior citizens, particularly elderly women.
The visit by the club members was not limited to material support alone—it was a holistic gesture of love, care, and togetherness. They distributed healthy food, fresh fruits, toiletries, and essential daily necessities, ensuring that the elderly residents received not just nourishment but also a sense of well-being and hygiene.
The highlight of the initiative was the quality time spent by the members with the elderly women. In an age where loneliness often shadows the twilight years of life, the compassion and presence of these women volunteers brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of belonging to those who often feel forgotten.
Speaking about the initiative, C.C. Dr. Savita Singhal emphasized that the project was more than charity—it was about emotional healing and bridging the gap between generations. “The elderly are the roots of our society, and it is our moral responsibility to ensure that they do not feel neglected or left behind. This project is an expression of gratitude and an effort to enrich their lives with love and dignity,” she said.
The effort benefitted 30 elderly women living in Lali Bai Bagichi, each of whom expressed immense gratitude to the club members for their thoughtful gesture. The Inner Wheel Club of Bikaner has long been recognized for its sustained efforts in community development, women’s empowerment, and social welfare, and this initiative stands as yet another testimony of its unwavering spirit of service.
This project also reflects the broader vision of Inner Wheel International, which has consistently emphasized “Caring for the Aged” as one of its global missions. By ensuring physical nourishment, emotional care, and human interaction, the club members have set an example of how small actions can have profound impacts on lives.
The evening concluded with songs, conversations, and heartfelt exchanges between the elderly women and the club members, leaving behind memories that will resonate longer than the material gifts shared.
The IWC Bikaner’s Project 13 has reinforced the idea that true service lies in touching lives with empathy and kindness. The smiles on the faces of the elderly were the most powerful testimony of the success of this initiative.
आईडब्ल्यूसी बीकानेर ने लाली बाई बागीची में बुजुर्ग महिलाओं के जीवन में भरी खुशियां

समाज सेवा और मानवता के मूल्यों को साकार करते हुए इनर व्हील क्लब (आईडब्ल्यूसी) बीकानेर ने एक भावनात्मक और प्रेरणादायक पहल के तहत बुजुर्ग महिलाओं के बीच सेवा और स्नेह का संदेश फैलाया। “रीच आउट फॉर ए बेटर वर्ल्ड – एजिंग” थीम पर आधारित यह कार्यक्रम प्रोजेक्ट नंबर 13, जिला नंबर 305 के तहत 5 अगस्त 2025 को लाली बाई बागीची में आयोजित किया गया।
इस सेवा कार्य के दौरान क्लब की महिलाओं ने न केवल पौष्टिक भोजन, ताजे फल और दैनिक जरूरत की सामग्री (जैसे टॉयलेटरीज़ आदि) वितरित कीं, बल्कि उन्होंने वृद्ध महिलाओं के साथ समय बिताकर उन्हें अपनापन और स्नेह का एहसास भी कराया।
आज की तेज रफ्तार दुनिया में जहां बुजुर्ग अक्सर अकेलेपन और उपेक्षा का सामना करते हैं, वहीं आईडब्ल्यूसी बीकानेर की यह पहल उनके जीवन में नई उम्मीद और खुशियां लेकर आई। क्लब की सदस्याओं ने उनके साथ हंसी-खुशी के पल साझा किए, बातचीत की और उनके जीवन की कहानियां सुनीं, जिससे उनके दिलों में एक गहरी छाप छोड़ी।
इस अवसर पर सी.सी. डॉ. सविता सिंघल ने कहा कि यह प्रोजेक्ट केवल मदद या दान तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि यह भावनात्मक जुड़ाव और पीढ़ियों के बीच पुल बनाने का प्रयास है। उन्होंने कहा, “बुजुर्ग समाज की जड़ें हैं। उनका सम्मान और देखभाल करना हमारी नैतिक जिम्मेदारी है। यह पहल उनके जीवन को गरिमा और प्यार से भरने का एक प्रयास है।”
इस कार्यक्रम का सीधा लाभ 30 बुजुर्ग महिलाओं को मिला, जिन्होंने क्लब की सदस्याओं का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि इस तरह की पहलों से उनके जीवन में सकारात्मक बदलाव आता है।
इनर व्हील क्लब बीकानेर पहले भी समाज सेवा, महिला सशक्तिकरण और सामुदायिक विकास के कार्यों के लिए जाना जाता रहा है। यह प्रोजेक्ट उनकी सेवाभावना और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी का एक और सशक्त उदाहरण है।
कार्यक्रम का समापन गीत, हंसी-मजाक और दिल से जुड़ी बातचीत के साथ हुआ। बुजुर्ग महिलाओं के चेहरों पर आई मुस्कानें इस बात का प्रमाण थीं कि यह प्रयास सफल रहा।
आईडब्ल्यूसी बीकानेर का प्रोजेक्ट नंबर 13 इस बात को दृढ़ करता है कि सच्ची सेवा वही है, जो दिलों को छू जाए और जीवन में आशा व खुशियां भर दे।
