आर्मी पब्लिक स्कूल के एनसीसी कैडेट्स ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण, जल बचाओ, वृक्षारोपण और प्रदूषण नियंत्रण जैसे विषयों पर जागरूकता अभियान चलाए। उन्होंने लोगों को बताया कि पर्यावरण सुरक्षा और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा एक-दूसरे से जुड़ी हुई हैं। अनुशासन, सेवा और राष्ट्रभक्ति की भावना से प्रेरित इन कैडेट्स ने समाज में सकारात्मक संदेश फैलाने का महत्वपूर्ण कार्य किया।

वैज्ञानिक तरीके से पौधारोपण की दी गई जानकारी
राजस्थान सरकार के वन विभाग के अधिकारियों और पर्यावरण विशेषज्ञों ने पौधारोपण की वैज्ञानिक तकनीकों पर विस्तृत व्याख्यान दिए। प्रतिभागियों को पौधों के चयन, रोपण की सही विधि, सिंचाई, पौधों की सुरक्षा, जैविक खाद, रखरखाव तथा दीर्घकालिक संरक्षण के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी गई ताकि लगाए गए पौधे स्वस्थ रूप से विकसित हो सकें।
गैर-सरकारी संगठनों ने निभाई महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका
इस अभियान में रियासत फाउंडेशन ने 5,000 पौधे, आधार शोध संस्थान ने 25,000 पौधे तथा कॉन्ट्री फाउंडेशन ने 12,000 पौधों का रोपण कर उल्लेखनीय योगदान दिया। इन संस्थाओं ने भारतीय सेना के साथ मिलकर यह साबित किया कि जब सरकारी संस्थाएं और सामाजिक संगठन एक साथ कार्य करते हैं तो बड़े से बड़ा पर्यावरणीय लक्ष्य भी आसानी से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।
मियावाकी तकनीक से तैयार होंगे घने हरित वन
अभियान की एक विशेष उपलब्धि यह रही कि पौधारोपण के लिए आधुनिक मियावाकी पद्धति का उपयोग किया गया। इस तकनीक के माध्यम से कम स्थान में अत्यधिक घने और प्राकृतिक वन विकसित किए जा सकते हैं। यह तकनीक जैव विविधता बढ़ाने, तापमान कम करने, कार्बन अवशोषण बढ़ाने और भूजल संरक्षण में अत्यंत प्रभावी मानी जाती है।
एक वर्ष तक पौधों की देखभाल का लिया गया संकल्प
इस अभियान की सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यह रही कि पौधारोपण के बाद भी इसकी जिम्मेदारी समाप्त नहीं होगी। सहभागी एनजीओ ने एक वर्ष तक सभी पौधों की नियमित देखभाल, सिंचाई, सुरक्षा और रखरखाव का संकल्प लिया है ताकि अधिकतम पौधे जीवित रह सकें और भविष्य में विशाल वृक्ष बनकर पर्यावरण को लाभ पहुंचा सकें।
