Beerappa Andagi, the headmaster of the Government Higher Primary School, personally spent nearly ₹5 lakh from his own savings to give 24 of his students their first-ever experience of flying in an aircraft. Watching his students grow up with limited opportunities and little exposure to the world beyond their village, Andagi conceived an idea that many would consider impossible — to introduce them to air travel and the life-changing confidence it brings. Determined to turn this vision into reality, he decided to personally fund the trip, refusing to let financial constraints or bureaucratic hurdles stand in the way of his students’ dreams.

The journey began at Toranagallu’s Jindal Airport, where a special flight was arranged exclusively for the students and accompanying staff. यह अनोखी यात्रा तोरणगल्लु स्थित जिंदल एयरपोर्ट से शुरू हुई, जहां छात्रों के लिए विशेष उड़ान की व्यवस्था की गई थी। एयरपोर्ट में प्रवेश करते ही बच्चों की आंखों में उत्सुकता और आश्चर्य साफ झलक रहा था। सुरक्षा जांच, विशाल टर्मिनल और पास से दिखाई देता हवाई जहाज़ उनके लिए बिल्कुल नई दुनिया थी। जैसे ही विमान ने बेंगलुरु की ओर उड़ान भरी, बच्चों की खुशी, रोमांच और गर्व भावनाओं के रूप में उनके चेहरों पर दिखाई दिया। यह उड़ान उनके जीवन का ऐसा अनुभव बन गई, जिसे वे कभी नहीं भूल पाएंगे।
मेहनत और प्रतिभा को मिला इनाम
