Lt Col Upender Named Best Student as Company Commanders’ Course Concludes at ASC Centre & College

The Company Commanders’ Course conducted at the ASC Centre & College in Bengaluru concluded on May 7, 2026, marking the successful completion of an important professional training programme for logistics officers of the Indian Army.

The course was attended by Indian Army officers along with participants from friendly foreign countries, including Nepal and Sri Lanka, reflecting strong military cooperation and exchange of best practices.

Lieutenant General J K Gera, Commandant of the ASC Centre & College, delivered the valedictory address. He encouraged the officers to emerge as torchbearers of logistics excellence in their respective formations and emphasised the need to stay prepared for next-generation warfare driven by rapid technological advancements

Lt Col Upender was adjudged the Best Student Officer for his outstanding performance during the course. Major Arya Rawal of the Nepal Army was awarded the Best Foreign Officer, recognising excellence among international participants.
