Fire & Fury Corps Initiative Expands Eye Care to Remote Ladakh Regions.

Major Healthcare Initiative in Ladakh
The initiative aims to:
- Conduct over 200 free cataract surgeries between April 26–30
- Provide specialised eye care to patients from remote and high-altitude areas

Extensive Outreach in Remote Areas
Over the past three months, medical teams conducted eye camps across:
- Tangtse
- Chushul
- Changthang region
- Nubra Valley
- Kargil
These camps have:
- Benefited over 950 individuals
- Identified 200+ cataract patients requiring surgery

Strengthening Medical Support in High-Altitude Regions
The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s commitment to:
- Delivering quality healthcare in remote regions
- Supporting local communities
- Enhancing civil-military cooperation
