Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla Reviews Operational Preparedness of Trishul Division Along LAC
Fire and Fury Corps Commander assesses combat readiness and operational measures in high-altitude areas along the Line of Actual Control.

Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Fire and Fury Corps, visited Headquarters Trishul Division to review the operational preparedness and combat readiness of troops deployed in the challenging high-altitude terrain along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the prevailing operational situation, deployment posture and various preparedness measures undertaken by the formation to maintain a high state of readiness in the strategically important sector.
The briefing covered operational developments, surveillance measures, infrastructure enhancement initiatives and efforts aimed at strengthening the Division’s capability to effectively respond to emerging security challenges in the region.

Lt Gen Bhalla reviewed the combat preparedness of troops operating in the demanding mountainous environment and assessed the measures implemented to ensure sustained operational effectiveness in extreme weather and terrain conditions.
Appreciating the professionalism, dedication and operational competence displayed by all ranks, the Corps Commander commended the Trishul Division for maintaining a high level of preparedness along the LAC.
He exhorted soldiers and commanders to continue upholding the highest standards of vigilance, operational readiness and military excellence while remaining prepared to meet any challenge in the defence of the nation’s borders.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to maintaining robust operational capabilities and a strong defensive posture in the high-altitude regions of Eastern Ladakh, ensuring the security and integrity of India’s frontiers.
