Lt Gen Manish Luthra Reviews Operational Readiness of Kalateer Brigade, Commends Troops for Professionalism and Self-Reliance

Lieutenant General Manish Luthra, AVSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Kharga Corps, reviewed the operational readiness of Kalateer Brigade, taking stock of the formation’s preparedness, training standards and ability to respond effectively to emerging battlefield challenges. During the visit, the GOC interacted with troops and assessed the overall operational preparedness of the formation, while emphasising the importance of maintaining high levels of combat readiness in an evolving security environment.
The review of operational readiness assumes particular significance as modern warfare continues to undergo rapid transformation, with technology, information dominance, unmanned systems, precision capabilities and rapidly changing battlefield dynamics increasingly influencing military operations. Against this backdrop, the GOC’s interaction with the troops focused on the need for continuous training, innovation, adaptability and a high degree of professional competence.

Addressing the troops, Lieutenant General Luthra urged all ranks to remain agile, technologically proficient and operationally prepared. He stressed that future battlefields would demand soldiers who are not only physically and mentally resilient but are also comfortable with emerging technologies and capable of adapting quickly to new forms of warfare.
Technological proficiency is increasingly becoming an essential component of modern military effectiveness. From drones and counter-drone systems to advanced surveillance, communications, electronic warfare, precision weapons and network-centric operations, technology is reshaping the manner in which military operations are planned and executed.

आज ड्रोन और काउंटर-ड्रोन सिस्टम से लेकर एडवांस्ड सर्विलांस, कम्युनिकेशन, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वॉरफेयर और प्रिसिजन स्ट्राइक क्षमताओं तक, तकनीक युद्ध के तौर-तरीकों को बदल रही है। ऐसे में सैनिकों की टेक्नोलॉजिकल प्रोफिशिएंसी ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा बनती जा रही है।
GOC का तकनीकी दक्षता पर जोर इसी बदलते युद्धक वातावरण को दर्शाता है। सैनिकों को लगातार नई तकनीकों से परिचित होना, उनकी क्षमताओं और सीमाओं को समझना तथा जरूरत पड़ने पर उनका प्रभावी इस्तेमाल करना होगा। तकनीकी दक्षता के साथ-साथ उच्च स्तर का प्रशिक्षण और नवाचार मिलकर भविष्य की सैन्य तैयारियों को और मजबूत कर सकते हैं।

GOC ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि आधुनिक तकनीक के बढ़ते महत्व के बावजूद साहस, आत्मविश्वास, अनुशासन, नेतृत्व और टीमवर्क सैन्य क्षमता के मूल आधार बने रहेंगे। युद्धक्षेत्र में तकनीक सैनिकों की क्षमताओं को बढ़ा सकती है, लेकिन अंतिम रूप से किसी भी ऑपरेशन की सफलता में सैनिकों का मनोबल, नेतृत्व क्षमता और कठिन परिस्थितियों में दृढ़ता महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है।
इस दौरान उच्च प्रशिक्षण मानकों को बनाए रखने की आवश्यकता पर भी विशेष जोर रहा। नियमित और यथार्थपरक प्रशिक्षण से सैनिकों की ऑपरेशनल क्षमताएं मजबूत होती हैं, निर्णय लेने की क्षमता बेहतर होती है और जटिल परिस्थितियों में प्रभावी कार्रवाई के लिए तैयारी सुनिश्चित होती है।
