Army Commander Sapta Shakti Command Emphasizes Innovation, Indigenous Technology and Future-Ready Combat Capabilities

In a significant demonstration of the Indian Army’s continuing focus on operational excellence, technological modernization, and battlefield readiness, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of Sapta Shakti Command, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of the DOT Division. The visit highlighted the Army’s commitment to strengthening combat effectiveness through indigenous innovation, advanced training, and the adoption of emerging military technologies.
During the visit, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh was briefed on the division’s operational readiness, training standards, and preparedness to respond to evolving security challenges. The Army Commander assessed various aspects of operational capability and reviewed the measures being undertaken to ensure that troops remain prepared for a wide spectrum of missions under diverse operational scenarios.
A major highlight of the visit was the interaction between the Army Commander and soldiers who showcased a range of indigenous innovations developed to enhance combat capability, force protection, operational efficiency, and mission effectiveness. These innovations reflected the growing emphasis within the Indian Army on leveraging home-grown technological solutions in line with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the armed forces’ drive toward self-reliance in defence technologies.
The Army Commander closely examined several innovative systems and battlefield solutions conceptualized and developed by military personnel. Such innovations are increasingly becoming force multipliers, enabling troops to respond effectively to contemporary security threats while reducing dependence on imported technologies. The initiatives demonstrated the creativity, technical expertise, and operational understanding of soldiers who continue to contribute beyond conventional military roles.
In a significant boost to the Army’s counter-drone capabilities, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh inaugurated a state-of-the-art Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Training Node. The newly established facility represents an important step in strengthening the Indian Army’s preparedness against the rapidly evolving threat posed by unmanned aerial systems and drone-based warfare.
The growing use of drones in modern conflicts has transformed the battlefield, making counter-drone capabilities a critical requirement for military forces worldwide. The new training node is expected to provide specialized instruction, practical exposure, and advanced operational training to soldiers tasked with detecting, tracking, identifying, and neutralizing hostile drones. The facility will help enhance the Army’s capability to tackle emerging aerial threats while improving overall force protection and operational resilience.
Defence experts have increasingly highlighted the importance of robust counter-UAS capabilities, particularly in view of evolving security challenges along India’s borders and the expanding use of unmanned systems in modern warfare. The establishment of dedicated training infrastructure reflects the Indian Army’s proactive approach toward preparing for future battlefields where drones, electronic warfare systems, artificial intelligence, and autonomous technologies are expected to play a decisive role.
Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh commended all ranks for their professionalism, commitment, and operational excellence. स्वदेशी नवाचार, आधुनिक सैन्य तकनीक और भविष्य की चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार हो रही भारतीय सेना को मिला नया बल

भारतीय सेना की युद्धक क्षमता, तकनीकी आधुनिकीकरण और ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों को और अधिक सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाते हुए सप्त शक्ति कमान के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग-इन-चीफ (GOC-in-C) लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मंजिंदर सिंह ने DOT डिवीजन की ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों का व्यापक निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने सैनिकों द्वारा विकसित स्वदेशी नवाचारों का अवलोकन किया तथा आधुनिक युद्धक्षेत्र की चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए स्थापित किए गए अत्याधुनिक काउंटर अनमैन्ड एरियल सिस्टम (C-UAS) ट्रेनिंग नोड का उद्घाटन किया।
अपने दौरे के दौरान सेना कमांडर को डिवीजन की युद्धक तैयारियों, प्रशिक्षण गतिविधियों, परिचालन क्षमताओं और विभिन्न सुरक्षा परिदृश्यों से निपटने की योजनाओं के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई। उन्होंने यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों की समीक्षा की कि सेना की इकाइयां किसी भी परिस्थिति में त्वरित और प्रभावी प्रतिक्रिया देने में सक्षम रहें।
दौरे का एक प्रमुख आकर्षण सैनिकों के साथ उनका संवाद रहा, जहां जवानों ने अपनी ओर से विकसित अनेक स्वदेशी नवाचारों और तकनीकी समाधानों का प्रदर्शन किया। इन नवाचारों का उद्देश्य युद्धक क्षमता बढ़ाना, सैनिकों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना, परिचालन दक्षता में सुधार लाना तथा मिशन की सफलता की संभावनाओं को और मजबूत करना है।
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मंजिंदर सिंह ने इन नवाचारों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि आधुनिक युद्ध केवल हथियारों की शक्ति से नहीं बल्कि तकनीकी श्रेष्ठता, नवाचार और तेज अनुकूलन क्षमता से भी जीते जाते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय सेना में विकसित हो रहे स्वदेशी समाधान आत्मनिर्भर भारत की भावना को मजबूत कर रहे हैं और भविष्य के युद्धक्षेत्र में निर्णायक भूमिका निभाएंगे।
दौरे के दौरान सेना कमांडर ने अत्याधुनिक काउंटर अनमैन्ड एरियल सिस्टम (C-UAS) ट्रेनिंग नोड का उद्घाटन भी किया। यह प्रशिक्षण केंद्र भारतीय सेना की ड्रोन और मानव रहित हवाई प्रणालियों से उत्पन्न खतरों से निपटने की क्षमता को नई मजबूती प्रदान करेगा। हाल के वर्षों में विश्वभर के संघर्षों में ड्रोन तकनीक के बढ़ते उपयोग ने सैन्य रणनीतियों को बदल दिया है और ऐसे में काउंटर-ड्रोन क्षमताओं का महत्व कई गुना बढ़ गया है।
नया प्रशिक्षण केंद्र सैनिकों को दुश्मन के ड्रोन की पहचान, निगरानी, ट्रैकिंग और उन्हें निष्क्रिय करने के लिए विशेष प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेगा। यह सुविधा आधुनिक युद्धक्षेत्र में उभरती चुनौतियों के विरुद्ध भारतीय सेना की तैयारियों को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाएगी। रक्षा विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि सीमाओं पर बदलते सुरक्षा परिदृश्यों और ड्रोन आधारित खतरों को देखते हुए ऐसी क्षमताएं भविष्य की सैन्य आवश्यकताओं का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा बन चुकी हैं।
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मंजिंदर सिंह ने सभी अधिकारियों और जवानों द्वारा प्रदर्शित पेशेवर उत्कृष्टता, अनुशासन और नवाचार की भावना की सराहना की। उन्होंने सैनिकों को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि वे तकनीकी विकास, आधुनिक प्रशिक्षण और परिचालन उत्कृष्टता के माध्यम से सेना की क्षमताओं को लगातार नई ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाते रहें।
इस अवसर पर सेना कमांडर ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले सैनिकों और अधिकारियों को सम्मानित भी किया। विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उल्लेखनीय योगदान देने वाले सैन्य कर्मियों को पुरस्कार प्रदान कर उनकी उपलब्धियों को मान्यता दी गई। यह सम्मान सेना की उत्कृष्टता, समर्पण और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा की परंपरा को और मजबूत करता है।
यह दौरा स्पष्ट रूप से दर्शाता है कि सप्त शक्ति कमान आधुनिक सैन्य तकनीकों, स्वदेशी नवाचारों और उच्च स्तरीय युद्धक तैयारियों के माध्यम से भारतीय सेना को भविष्य की चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार करने की दिशा में निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता, ड्रोन युद्ध, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक युद्ध और उन्नत निगरानी प्रणालियों के युग में भारतीय सेना का यह परिवर्तन राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा को और अधिक मजबूत बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है।
