Lt Gen Mohit Malhotra Reviews Operational Preparedness at Bathinda Military Station, Emphasises Technology-Driven Combat Readiness

Lieutenant General Mohit Malhotra, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Sapta Shakti Command, visited Bathinda Military Station to conduct a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of the Chetak Corps and The Valiant Wings. The visit underscored the Indian Army’s continued focus on enhancing combat readiness through advanced technology, mission-oriented training, and operational excellence.
During the visit, the Army Commander reviewed various aspects of operational preparedness, including mission-specific training, combat validation exercises, and the integration of modern technologies into military operations. Senior military commanders briefed him on the current operational capabilities, force readiness, and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening battlefield effectiveness.
Lt Gen Malhotra assessed the progress being made in incorporating cutting-edge technologies into operational planning and training, highlighting the importance of innovation in addressing future security challenges. He stressed that modern warfare demands highly trained personnel supported by advanced surveillance systems, network-centric capabilities, precision weapons, and technology-enabled decision-making.
The Army Commander appreciated all officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, and soldiers for their exemplary professionalism, dedication, and commitment to maintaining a high level of operational preparedness. He commended their unwavering focus on training standards and operational discipline.
Encouraging all ranks to continue building on their achievements, Lt Gen Malhotra urged them to sustain the momentum towards transforming the Indian Army into a Future Ready Force by embracing innovation, strengthening operational excellence, and continuously enhancing combat capabilities.
The visit reflects the Indian Army’s sustained efforts to maintain peak operational readiness and ensure that formations under the Sapta Shakti Command remain fully prepared to respond effectively to emerging security challenges across all operational environments.

सप्त शक्ति कमान के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग-इन-चीफ (GOC-in-C) लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मोहित मल्होत्रा ने बठिंडा मिलिट्री स्टेशन का दौरा कर चेतक कोर तथा द वैलिएंट विंग्स की ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों का व्यापक आकलन किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने सेना की युद्धक क्षमता, मिशन आधारित प्रशिक्षण, आधुनिक तकनीक के उपयोग तथा भविष्य की चुनौतियों से निपटने की तैयारियों की विस्तृत समीक्षा की।
दौरे के दौरान वरिष्ठ सैन्य अधिकारियों ने आर्मी कमांडर को विभिन्न ऑपरेशनल पहलुओं, युद्धक तैयारियों, प्रशिक्षण गतिविधियों तथा आधुनिक सैन्य तकनीकों के समावेशन पर विस्तार से जानकारी दी। लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मल्होत्रा ने मिशन-उन्मुख प्रशिक्षण, कठोर ऑपरेशनल वैलिडेशन अभ्यास और तकनीक आधारित क्षमता निर्माण की प्रगति का गहन मूल्यांकन किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि आधुनिक युद्ध केवल सैनिकों की बहादुरी पर ही नहीं बल्कि अत्याधुनिक तकनीक, नेटवर्क आधारित युद्ध प्रणाली, निगरानी उपकरणों, सटीक हथियार प्रणालियों तथा त्वरित निर्णय क्षमता पर भी निर्भर करता है। उन्होंने भविष्य के युद्धक्षेत्र की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप सेना को लगातार तकनीकी रूप से सशक्त बनाने पर विशेष बल दिया।
आर्मी कमांडर ने सभी अधिकारियों, जूनियर कमीशंड अधिकारियों (JCOs) और जवानों की उत्कृष्ट पेशेवर क्षमता, अनुशासन, समर्पण और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि उच्च स्तर की ऑपरेशनल तैयारी और कठोर प्रशिक्षण ही भारतीय सेना की सबसे बड़ी ताकत है।
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मोहित मल्होत्रा ने सभी रैंकों का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए उन्हें नवाचार को अपनाने, आधुनिक तकनीकों का अधिकतम उपयोग करने तथा ऑपरेशनल उत्कृष्टता को निरंतर मजबूत करते हुए भारतीय सेना को “फ्यूचर रेडी फोर्स” बनाने की दिशा में अपने प्रयासों को और तेज करने का आह्वान किया।
यह दौरा भारतीय सेना की उस सतत प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है जिसके तहत सप्त शक्ति कमान के सभी गठन उच्चतम स्तर की युद्धक तैयारी, आधुनिक सैन्य तकनीक के समावेशन और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा से जुड़े हर संभावित चुनौतीपूर्ण परिदृश्य का प्रभावी ढंग से सामना करने के लिए निरंतर तैयार रह रहे हैं।
