White Knight Corps Commander assesses operational preparedness and surveillance grid in sensitive hinterland.

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), visited the general area of Basantgarh to review the prevailing security dynamics and operational preparedness.

During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the existing security layout, force deployment, surveillance mechanisms, and contingency response plans. The review focused on optimising the operational framework to effectively address emerging threats and maintain stability in the hinterland.
Discussions highlighted the importance of enhanced coordination among multiple agencies to ensure seamless intelligence sharing and swift responses. Emphasis was laid on strengthening integrated efforts to sustain peace and security in the region.
Lt Gen Mishra commended the troops for their professionalism, alertness, and commitment to duty. He underscored that sustained vigilance, robust surveillance, and cohesive operations remain essential for ensuring a secure hinterland.
