In a proud milestone ahead of the Indian Military Academy’s Spring Term 2026 Passing Out Parade, 59 Officer Cadets destined for the Corps of Engineers were honoured with Sapper Accoutrements during a ceremonial event conducted by the Golden Key Sappers.

The Accoutrement Ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant General Vikas Rohella, AVSM, SM, Engineer-in-Chief of the Indian Army, who presented the prestigious accoutrements to the Officer Cadets set to be commissioned into the Corps of Engineers on 13 June 2026.

The ceremony was attended by serving officers, distinguished veterans and members of the Corps, making it a memorable occasion for the future military engineers preparing to join one of the Indian Army’s most decorated arms.

The presentation of accoutrements symbolizes the formal induction of the cadets into the proud fraternity of the Sappers and serves as a reminder of the Corps’ rich legacy of courage, professionalism and technical excellence.
