Major General Rajeev Kapoor Assumes Command of Panther Division

In a significant Change of Command ceremony, Major General Rajeev Kapoor has assumed command of the prestigious Panther Division of the Indian Army. The Vajra Corps extended its congratulations to Maj Gen Rajeev Kapoor on taking over the command and conveyed best wishes for his new appointment. The assumption of command marks an important leadership transition within the formation, which has a distinguished legacy of operational service and commitment to national security.
As General Officer Commanding of Panther Division, Maj Gen Rajeev Kapoor will be responsible for leading the formation in its operational, administrative and training commitments. His focus is expected to remain on maintaining a high state of operational preparedness, professional excellence and mission readiness in line with the evolving security environment.
