Massive Crackdown by Bikaner Police: Wanted Criminals Nabbed With Firearms in Coordinated Operation
Bikaner, Rajasthan — In a major success against criminal elements in the city, Bikaner Police, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Kavendra Sagar, executed a multi-station coordinated operation that led to the arrest of several habitual offenders, including those involved in recent violent clashes in the city.
The action, executed on direct instructions from SP Kavendra Sagar, saw three major police stations—JNVC, Kotgate, and Muktaprasad—swing into coordinated motion. ASP Saurabh Tiwari led the overall operation, with the direct involvement of IPS officer Vishal Jangid, Circle Officer (City) Shravan Das Sant, respective Station House Officers (SHOs), and the District Special Team (DST).
Key Arrests and Seizures
On July 3rd, a violent incident involving campers (pickup vehicles) in the JNVC police station area had caused panic and led to the registration of an FIR involving physical assault and property damage. The prime accused in that case, Vishnu Banguda, a known habitual offender, was on the run.
Acting swiftly, the police tracked and arrested Vishnu Banguda. He was hiding with the assistance of his close aides. One of his accomplices who provided shelter was arrested alongside him. The police have also named other individuals who offered him refuge as co-accused in the case.
Further deepening the crackdown, the police arrested notorious gangster Gopal Jakhar, a hard-core habitual offender (HS) wanted in multiple serious criminal cases. He was caught with a country-made pistol, adding illegal weapons possession to his long list of criminal charges. Gopal Jakhar is considered a major figure in the Bikaner crime landscape and has several FIRs lodged against him for offenses ranging from extortion and assault to arms dealing.
In a parallel but linked action, police also nabbed Ravi Modi, another habitual offender from the Kotgate police station list. He too was found in illegal possession of a country-made pistol.
Crackdown Symbolizes No-Tolerance Approach
This crackdown is being seen as a firm signal from the Bikaner police under SP Kavendra Sagar’s command that lawlessness will not be tolerated. By going after habitual offenders and their shelter networks, the police are aiming to dismantle the support systems that allow such criminals to operate freely even after multiple offenses.
The arrests are also significant because of the recovery of illegal firearms, indicating a deeper chain of arms smuggling or underground trade networks, which the police are now reportedly investigating.

बीकानेर। शहर में आपराधिक गतिविधियों पर लगाम कसते हुए बीकानेर पुलिस ने एक और बड़ी कार्यवाही को अंजाम दिया है। पुलिस अधीक्षक कावेन्द्र सागर के निर्देश में JNVC, कोटगेट और मुक्ताप्रसाद थाना पुलिस ने समन्वित अभियान चलाकर तीन कुख्यात अपराधियों को धर दबोचा।
इस पूरे ऑपरेशन का नेतृत्व एएसपी सौरभ तिवाड़ी ने किया जबकि आईपीएस विशाल जांगिड़, वृताधिकारी शहर श्रवण दास संत, संबंधित थानाधिकारी और जिला विशेष टीम (DST) ने अहम भूमिका निभाई।
कैम्पर भिड़ंत प्रकरण का मुख्य आरोपी पकड़ा गया
3 जुलाई को JNVC थाना क्षेत्र में कैम्पर गाड़ियों के टकराव और उसके बाद हुई मारपीट की घटना ने इलाके में सनसनी फैला दी थी। इस मामले का मुख्य आरोपी और आदतन अपराधी विष्णु बाँगुड़ा पुलिस की रडार पर था। पुलिस ने उसे गहन खोजबीन के बाद गिरफ़्तार कर लिया। उसके साथ उसे शरण देने वाले एक साथी को भी पकड़ा गया है। वहीं, अन्य शरणदाताओं को नामजद करते हुए पुलिस ने उनके खिलाफ कानूनी कार्यवाही शुरू कर दी है।
अवैध हथियार के साथ पकड़ा गया कुख्यात अपराधी गोपाल जाखड़
एक अन्य कार्यवाही में पुलिस ने हार्डकोर हिस्ट्रीशीटर गोपाल जाखड़ को एक देशी पिस्टल के साथ गिरफ़्तार किया। गोपाल पर पहले से ही कई संगीन आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं और वह बीकानेर क्षेत्र में एक बड़ा नाम माना जाता है। उसकी गिरफ्तारी को पुलिस द्वारा एक अहम सफलता माना जा रहा है।
HS अपराधी रवि मोदी भी हथियार सहित गिरफ़्तार
कोटगेट थाना क्षेत्र से कुख्यात हिस्ट्रीशीटर रवि मोदी को भी पुलिस ने देशी पिस्टल के साथ गिरफ़्तार किया है। उसके खिलाफ भी पूर्व में कई आपराधिक प्रकरण दर्ज हैं और वह शहर में अपराध जगत से जुड़ा हुआ एक जाना-पहचाना नाम है।
स्पष्ट संदेश: अपराध को बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगी बीकानेर पुलिस
बीकानेर पुलिस द्वारा की गई इस सशक्त कार्यवाही को अपराधियों को सख्त संदेश देने के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। पुलिस अधीक्षक कावेन्द्र सागर के नेतृत्व में लगातार चल रही सघन निगरानी और कार्यवाहियों से अपराधियों का नेटवर्क हिल गया है।
गिरफ्तारी के साथ जब्त किए गए अवैध हथियार इस बात का संकेत हैं कि शहर में हथियारों की अवैध सप्लाई या तस्करी का नेटवर्क सक्रिय हो सकता है, जिसकी जांच अब तेज़ कर दी गई है।
