Acting on solid technical inputs, intelligence operatives tracked Yadav as he left his duty on June 16. He was tailed from Delhi to Manesar, where he was intercepted near a medical store. His personal vehicle was discreetly parked there, and he was taken into custody in a covert operation, without creating public attention.
His family only discovered his arrest on June 24, triggering shock and disbelief as Yadav hails from a respected police background.
Social Media the Entry Point of Betrayal
Rajasthan Intelligence, responsible for counter-intelligence operations in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, and parts of Delhi, first detected unusual communication between Vishal Yadav and a suspicious female profile on Facebook and Instagram.
Further investigation revealed that the woman, operating under the fake Indian identity of ‘Priya Sharma,’ was, in fact, a trained Pakistani intelligence operative working for ISI. Using emotional manipulation, friendship, and monetary offers, she managed to lure Vishal Yadav into sharing sensitive defence information from within the Navy headquarters.
Addiction to Online Gaming Made Him a Soft Target
Officials revealed that Vishal Yadav was addicted to online gaming and was facing financial hardships, making him an easy prey for enemy operatives. The initial payments were small—₹5,000 to ₹6,000 for basic information—but as he provided more critical military intelligence, he received higher sums.
Bank records and cryptocurrency transactions show that Yadav received around ₹2 lakh, including ₹50,000 specifically for leaking classified information related to Operation Sindoor, India’s major retaliatory military strike post the Pahalgam terror attack.
Operation Sindoor: Target of Pakistan’s Espionage Network
Operation Sindoor was launched after the cowardly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, on April 22, in which Indian Army personnel were martyred. Under this operation, Indian forces struck terror camps, launch pads, and arms depots in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The secrecy of such operations is critical to national security. Any leak could compromise lives and strategic advantages. Yadav’s betrayal, if not detected in time, could have endangered Indian military personnel and jeopardised India’s security objectives.

नई दिल्ली/जयपुर/रेवाड़ी। देश की राजधानी स्थित भारतीय नौसेना भवन से गोपनीय जानकारी लीक करने के मामले में राजस्थान इंटेलिजेंस ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए हरियाणा के रेवाड़ी निवासी विशाल यादव को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी ने सोशल मीडिया के जरिए पाकिस्तान की महिला हैंडलर के संपर्क में आकर ऑपरेशन सिंदूर से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी दुश्मन एजेंसी को भेजी।
यह खुलासा भारत में सक्रिय पाकिस्तानी खुफिया एजेंसियों की उस साजिश को उजागर करता है, जिसके तहत सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म का इस्तेमाल कर देश के अंदर तक सेंध लगाने की कोशिश की जा रही है।
दिल्ली से मानेसर तक पीछा, मौके पर ही पकड़ा गद्दार
विशाल यादव, जो दिल्ली स्थित नौसेना भवन में अपर डिवीजन क्लर्क (यूडीसी) के पद पर तैनात था, पर लंबे समय से राजस्थान इंटेलिजेंस की नजर थी। सोशल मीडिया पर संदिग्ध गतिविधियों के इनपुट मिलने के बाद उसे तकनीकी निगरानी में रखा गया।
16 जून की शाम जब विशाल यादव ड्यूटी के बाद घर लौटने के लिए निकला, इंटेलिजेंस टीम ने उसका पीछा शुरू किया। मानेसर में एक मेडिकल स्टोर के बाहर उसे रोका गया। उसकी निजी गाड़ी वहीं खड़ी करवा दी गई और उसे टीम ने अपनी गाड़ी में बैठाकर हिरासत में ले लिया।
यह पूरा ऑपरेशन इतनी गोपनीयता से हुआ कि उसके परिजनों को भी 24 जून तक उसकी गिरफ्तारी की भनक नहीं लगी।
सोशल मीडिया बना जासूसी का सबसे बड़ा जरिया
राजस्थान इंटेलिजेंस ने सोशल मीडिया पर विशाल यादव के अकाउंट्स की गहन जांच की। फेसबुक और इंस्टाग्राम पर उसकी ‘प्रिया शर्मा’ नामक महिला प्रोफाइल से बातचीत सामने आई। जांच में पता चला कि यह प्रोफाइल असल में पाकिस्तान की खुफिया एजेंसी ISI की महिला हैंडलर चला रही थी।
महिला ने पहले दोस्ती, फिर भावनात्मक जुड़ाव और आखिर में पैसों का लालच देकर विशाल से नौसेना मुख्यालय की गोपनीय सूचनाएं हासिल कीं।
ऑनलाइन गेमिंग की लत ने आसान शिकार बनाया
जांच में सामने आया कि विशाल यादव ऑनलाइन गेमिंग का आदी था और आर्थिक परेशानियों से जूझ रहा था। ISI की महिला एजेंट ने इसी कमजोरी का फायदा उठाया।
शुरुआत में 5-6 हजार रुपये मामूली जानकारी के लिए दिए गए। लेकिन जब उसने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर और अन्य संवेदनशील जानकारियां लीक करनी शुरू कीं, तो उसे बड़ी रकम दी जाने लगी। बैंक खातों और क्रिप्टो करेंसी (USDT) में हुए ट्रांजेक्शन से यह स्पष्ट हुआ कि उसे करीब दो लाख रुपये मिले, जिसमें से पचास हजार रुपये विशेष रूप से ऑपरेशन सिंदूर से जुड़ी जानकारी देने के लिए मिले थे।
ऑपरेशन सिंदूर: पाकिस्तान की बौखलाहट का कारण
22 अप्रैल को जम्मू-कश्मीर के पहलगाम में हुए आतंकी हमले के बाद भारतीय सेना ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर शुरू किया था। इसके तहत पाकिस्तान अधिकृत कश्मीर में आतंकी ठिकानों, हथियारों के भंडार और लॉन्च पैड्स को निशाना बनाया गया।
इस ऑपरेशन की गोपनीयता बेहद अहम थी। यदि दुश्मन को इसकी जानकारी पहले मिलती, तो यह भारत की सुरक्षा के लिए बड़ा खतरा बन सकता था। विशाल यादव की गद्दारी समय रहते पकड़ में आ गई, जिससे बड़ी साजिश नाकाम हो गई।
फोन और सोशल मीडिया से मिले चौंकाने वाले सबूत
विशाल यादव के मोबाइल फोन, लैपटॉप, सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स और बैंकिंग लेनदेन की फॉरेंसिक जांच में कई चौंकाने वाले सबूत सामने आए। इनमें शामिल हैं:

✔ पाकिस्तानी हैंडलर के साथ संवेदनशील चैट
✔ क्रिप्टो करेंसी वॉलेट में संदिग्ध ट्रांजेक्शन
✔ व्हाट्सऐप, टेलीग्राम पर गोपनीय जानकारी साझा करने के रिकॉर्ड
इन साक्ष्यों से साफ हो गया कि उसने न केवल ऑपरेशन सिंदूर से जुड़ी जानकारी बल्कि नौसेना के आंतरिक प्लान, लॉजिस्टिक्स और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था से जुड़ी अहम सूचनाएं भी लीक की थीं।
परिवार का पुलिस बैकग्राउंड, फिर भी देश से गद्दारी
विशाल यादव रेवाड़ी जिले के पुनसिका गांव का रहने वाला है। उसके पिता सुनील यादव हरियाणा पुलिस में एएसआई थे, जिनकी सड़क हादसे में मौत हो गई थी। उसके दोनों चाचा भी हरियाणा पुलिस में सेवा दे चुके हैं।
ऐसे परिवार से आने वाले युवक द्वारा पैसे के लालच में देश से गद्दारी करना न केवल शर्मनाक है बल्कि सुरक्षा तंत्र के लिए भी खतरे की घंटी है।
संयुक्त पूछताछ जारी, बड़े नेटवर्क का शक
फिलहाल विशाल यादव से जयपुर के केंद्रीय पूछताछ केंद्र में RAW, IB और राजस्थान इंटेलिजेंस की संयुक्त टीम पूछताछ कर रही है। शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया है कि वह पिछले कई महीनों से ISI के संपर्क में था और संभव है कि वह किसी बड़े जासूसी नेटवर्क का हिस्सा रहा हो।
अधिकारियों को शक है कि रक्षा प्रतिष्ठानों में अन्य लोग भी दुश्मन एजेंसियों के जाल में फंसे हो सकते हैं। उसके बैंक खातों, क्रिप्टो ट्रांजेक्शन और सोशल मीडिया संपर्कों की गहन जांच की जा रही है।
सोशल मीडिया बना राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा में सबसे बड़ा खतरा
यह मामला साफ दर्शाता है कि फेसबुक, इंस्टाग्राम, टेलीग्राम और व्हाट्सऐप जैसे सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म अब पाकिस्तान की ISI जैसी दुश्मन एजेंसियों का सबसे प्रभावी हथियार बन चुके हैं। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि:

सूत्रों के मुताबिक, पाकिस्तान की ISI ने भारत में सेंध लगाने के लिए सैकड़ों फर्जी भारतीय प्रोफाइल सोशल मीडिया पर बनाई हैं। इनमें से अधिकांश महिला प्रोफाइल होती हैं, जो दोस्ती, भावनात्मक जुड़ाव और पैसों के लालच से भारतीय युवाओं और सरकारी कर्मचारियों को फंसाती हैं।
विशाल यादव का केस इसी सुनियोजित रणनीति का बड़ा उदाहरण है।
सतर्कता से बचा बड़ा राष्ट्रीय खतरा
विशाल यादव की गिरफ्तारी भारतीय सुरक्षा एजेंसियों की सतर्कता का उदाहरण है। लेकिन यह भी साफ है कि दुश्मन लगातार अपने हथकंडे बदल रहे हैं और भारत की सुरक्षा में सेंध लगाने की फिराक में हैं।
आवश्यक है कि सोशल मीडिया पर सावधानी बरती जाए, युवाओं को जागरूक किया जाए और सुरक्षा तंत्र में सतत निगरानी रखी जाए।
