According to the latest orders, senior IIS officer Ritesh Chaudhary has been posted as Special Correspondent in Colombo, Sri Lanka, while Akhilesh Sharma will assume responsibilities in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Manish Shiva Zile has been assigned to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Arvind Kumar Jain has been posted to Kathmandu, Nepal, and Ms. Manju Meena will take charge in Beijing, China.
The appointments come at a time when India’s diplomatic, economic, strategic and cultural engagements with neighboring countries and major international partners are witnessing unprecedented expansion. कोलंबो, ढाका, दुबई, काठमांडू और बीजिंग में तैनात होंगे भारतीय सूचना सेवा के अधिकारी, रणनीतिक संचार को मिलेगा नया आयाम
भारत सरकार के सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय (MIB) ने भारतीय सूचना सेवा (IIS) के पांच अधिकारियों को विदेशों में विशेष संवाददाता (Special Correspondent) के रूप में नियुक्त करते हुए एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रशासनिक और रणनीतिक निर्णय लिया है। इन नियुक्तियों को भारत की वैश्विक मीडिया उपस्थिति को मजबूत करने, अंतरराष्ट्रीय घटनाक्रमों की बेहतर रिपोर्टिंग सुनिश्चित करने और विदेशों में भारत की सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क क्षमता को विस्तार देने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम माना जा रहा है।
जारी आदेशों के अनुसार रितेश चौधरी को श्रीलंका की राजधानी कोलंबो में विशेष संवाददाता के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है, जबकि अखिलेश शर्मा को बांग्लादेश की राजधानी ढाका भेजा गया है। मनीष शिवा जिले को संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के दुबई में विशेष संवाददाता की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। वहीं अरविंद कुमार जैन को नेपाल की राजधानी काठमांडू में तैनात किया गया है तथा सुश्री मंजू मीणा को चीन की राजधानी बीजिंग में विशेष संवाददाता के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।
