MIL Organizes MSME Conclave 2024 to Boost Atmanirbhar Bharat in Defence Production

Munitions India Ltd is set to host the MSME Conclave 2024 on January 30, 2024 (Tuesday), at Auto Cluster, Chinchwad, Pune, from 10:30 AM to 06:00 PM to align with the Government of India’s Make in India initiative, emphasizing Atmanirbhar Bharat in Defence Production.
This event will bring together various MSME firms, along with key stakeholders such as MIL group of factories, DRDO, various Inspection Agencies and Armed Forces. The agenda encompasses insightful presentations & lectures on diverse topics, showcasing the commitment to advancing the country’s defence manufacturing capabilities.
A highlight of the conclave is the special session on ‘Technology Transfer to MSMEs by DRDO,’ offering invaluable insights into the transfer of cutting-edge technologies. The MIL group of factories will exhibit Source Development/Indigenization items, providing MSMEs with a unique opportunity to explore collaborations & contribute to India’s self-reliance in defence production.
Technical experts from MIL group of factories, equipped with domain knowledge of components, will be available to facilitate meaningful interactions with MSMEs. The event also includes a dedicated session on the SRIJAN Portal (focusing on new and R&D items) and success stories of Atmanirbhar Bharat for encouraging innovation in the defence manufacturing sector.
This conclave serves as an excellent platform for MSMEs to stay abreast of the latest developments in defence production, engage with industry experts, & explore collaborative opportunities.
