Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan: NCC Cadets Conduct Horse-Mounted Awareness Rally in Bikaner, Spread Message Against Drug Abuse
Bikaner, Rajasthan: As part of the nationwide campaign to create greater awareness against substance abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free society, 1 (Rajasthan) R&V Squadron NCC, Bikaner conducted a “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Horse Mounted Awareness Rally” in Bikaner. The awareness campaign brought together NCC personnel and cadets in a coordinated public outreach initiative aimed at sensitising citizens, particularly young people, about the harmful consequences of drug and substance abuse.
The horse-mounted awareness rally was organised at Durgadoss Circle, adjoining Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner, covering the prominent arterial routes towards Jaipur Road and Jaisalmer Road. The mounted NCC contingent attracted public attention as cadets carried posters and handmade placards conveying messages associated with the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the need to stay away from drugs and other addictive substances.
A total of 01 officer, 01 Associate NCC Officer (ANO), 05 Permanent Instructor (PI) staff, 04 civilian staff and 64 NCC cadets participated in the awareness campaign. The participation of a large number of NCC cadets reflected the organisation’s emphasis on involving young people in socially relevant awareness initiatives and encouraging them to become ambassadors of responsible citizenship.
During the rally, the cadets moved through the identified routes while displaying awareness messages through posters and handmade placards. The campaign sought to communicate a simple but important message to the public — that prevention, awareness and collective responsibility are essential to tackling the problem of substance abuse.
The horse-mounted format of the campaign also provided a distinctive visual element to the awareness drive. The presence of mounted NCC personnel and cadets on the major roads of Bikaner helped draw attention to the campaign and enabled the message of a drug-free society to reach people in public spaces.
The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan focuses on creating awareness about the dangers associated with substance abuse and encouraging communities, institutions and young people to contribute towards preventing addiction. Awareness programmes such as rallies, public campaigns and youth-led initiatives play an important role in taking the message beyond institutional settings and directly engaging with the community.
The NCC cadets participated in the campaign with enthusiasm and commitment. Their active involvement demonstrated the role that youth organisations can play in social awareness campaigns, particularly on issues that directly affect the health, education, productivity and future prospects of young people.
The initiative also reinforced the broader role of the NCC in developing discipline, leadership, social responsibility and a spirit of service among cadets. By participating in public awareness campaigns, NCC cadets get an opportunity to connect their training and discipline with wider community-oriented responsibilities.
The 1 (R) R&V Squadron NCC, Bikaner, through the horse-mounted awareness rally, used a combination of mounted participation, public interaction, posters and handmade placards to communicate the message of Nasha Mukt Bharat across important parts of the city.
The campaign concluded with the participating NCC personnel and cadets reiterating the importance of awareness, prevention and collective action in the fight against substance abuse. The enthusiastic participation of the cadets turned the initiative into a visible public awareness campaign, carrying the message of a healthier and drug-free society to the people of Bikaner.

नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान: बीकानेर में NCC कैडेट्स ने निकाली घुड़सवार जागरूकता रैली, पोस्टर और हस्तनिर्मित तख्तियों से दिया नशे से दूर रहने का संदेश
बीकानेर, राजस्थान: नशे और मादक पदार्थों के दुरुपयोग के खिलाफ जनजागरूकता बढ़ाने और समाज को नशामुक्त बनाने के उद्देश्य से 1 (राज) R&V स्क्वाड्रन NCC, बीकानेर की ओर से “नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान हॉर्स माउंटेड अवेयरनेस रैली” का आयोजन किया गया। इस विशेष घुड़सवार जागरूकता रैली के माध्यम से NCC कैडेट्स ने आम लोगों के बीच नशे के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने के साथ स्वस्थ और नशामुक्त समाज का संदेश दिया।
जागरूकता रैली का आयोजन राजस्थान यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ वेटरनरी एंड एनिमल साइंसेज (RAJUVAS) के समीप दुर्गादास सर्किल से किया गया। रैली ने बीकानेर शहर की प्रमुख आवाजाही वाली सड़कों और जयपुर रोड तथा जैसलमेर रोड के महत्वपूर्ण मार्गों को कवर किया। घोड़ों पर सवार NCC कर्मियों और कैडेट्स की मौजूदगी ने लोगों का ध्यान आकर्षित किया और नशामुक्त भारत अभियान के संदेश को सार्वजनिक स्थानों तक प्रभावी ढंग से पहुंचाया।
इस अभियान में कुल 01 अधिकारी, 01 एसोसिएट NCC ऑफिसर (ANO), 05 PI स्टाफ, 04 सिविलियन स्टाफ और 64 NCC कैडेट्स ने हिस्सा लिया। बड़ी संख्या में NCC कैडेट्स की भागीदारी ने यह संदेश भी दिया कि युवा वर्ग नशे के खिलाफ जागरूकता फैलाने और समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकता है।
रैली के दौरान NCC कैडेट्स ने पोस्टर और हाथ से तैयार की गई जागरूकता तख्तियां प्रदर्शित कीं। इन पोस्टरों और प्लेकार्ड्स के माध्यम से आम जनता को नशे से दूर रहने, नशे के दुष्प्रभावों को समझने और समाज में नशामुक्त वातावरण बनाने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयास करने का संदेश दिया गया।
इस जागरूकता अभियान का प्रमुख उद्देश्य नशे की समस्या को केवल व्यक्तिगत समस्या के रूप में नहीं बल्कि सामाजिक चुनौती के रूप में देखने और इसके खिलाफ जागरूकता को मजबूत करना रहा। सार्वजनिक मार्गों से गुजरने वाली रैली के माध्यम से अभियान का संदेश बड़ी संख्या में लोगों तक पहुंचा।
घुड़सवार रैली ने अभियान को एक विशेष स्वरूप भी प्रदान किया। प्रमुख सड़कों पर घोड़ों के साथ NCC कैडेट्स की उपस्थिति ने राहगीरों और स्थानीय नागरिकों का ध्यान आकर्षित किया। पोस्टर और हस्तनिर्मित तख्तियों के माध्यम से कैडेट्स ने नशे के खिलाफ जागरूकता का संदेश लगातार लोगों तक पहुंचाया।
नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान का उद्देश्य मादक पदार्थों और नशीले पदार्थों के सेवन से होने वाले नुकसान के प्रति समाज में जागरूकता पैदा करना तथा लोगों को नशे से दूर रहने के लिए प्रेरित करना है। ऐसे अभियानों में युवाओं की भागीदारी विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण मानी जाती है, क्योंकि युवा स्वयं जागरूक होने के साथ अपने परिवार, मित्रों और समुदाय में भी सकारात्मक संदेश पहुंचा सकते हैं।
NCC कैडेट्स ने इस अभियान में पूरे उत्साह और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ भाग लिया। उनकी भागीदारी ने यह दर्शाया कि NCC केवल अनुशासन और सैन्य प्रशिक्षण तक सीमित संगठन नहीं है, बल्कि सामाजिक जागरूकता, नागरिक जिम्मेदारी और राष्ट्र निर्माण से जुड़े अभियानों में भी युवाओं को सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने के लिए प्रेरित करता है।
NCC के माध्यम से युवाओं में अनुशासन, नेतृत्व क्षमता, जिम्मेदारी और समाज के प्रति सेवा भावना विकसित करने पर जोर दिया जाता है। नशामुक्ति जैसे सामाजिक अभियान में कैडेट्स की भागीदारी इन मूल्यों को जमीनी स्तर पर लागू करने का अवसर भी प्रदान करती है।
1 (राज) R&V स्क्वाड्रन NCC, बीकानेर द्वारा आयोजित इस घुड़सवार जागरूकता रैली ने बीकानेर के प्रमुख सार्वजनिक मार्गों पर नशामुक्त भारत का संदेश पहुंचाया। घुड़सवार NCC दल, पोस्टर और हाथ से बनाए गए प्लेकार्ड्स के माध्यम से लोगों को नशे के खिलाफ जागरूक किया गया।
अभियान के दौरान NCC कैडेट्स ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेते हुए लोगों तक यह संदेश पहुंचाया कि नशे से बचाव के लिए जागरूकता, व्यक्तिगत जिम्मेदारी और सामूहिक प्रयास बेहद जरूरी हैं। बीकानेर में आयोजित इस अभियान ने युवाओं की सामाजिक भागीदारी और नशामुक्त समाज के निर्माण की दिशा में जागरूकता का संदेश मजबूती से सामने रखा।
