The Director General of the National Security Guard flagged off the NSG Mount Everest Expedition 2026, marking a major initiative to showcase the force’s endurance, resilience and operational excellence.

The expedition team comprises:

  • 03 Officers
  • 01 Assistant Commander
  • 12 Rangers

The contingent will attempt to summit Mount Everest (8,849 metres), the highest peak on Earth.
