बुधवार को आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में सीओ सदर एवं आईपीएस अधिकारी अनुष्का कालिया ने इस महत्वपूर्ण कार्रवाई की विस्तृत जानकारी साझा करते हुए बताया कि गिरफ्तार किए गए तीनों आरोपी केवल हथियार उठाने वाले सामान्य व्यक्ति नहीं थे, बल्कि पूरे नेटवर्क के महत्वपूर्ण सदस्य थे। उन्होंने बताया कि इन आरोपियों को सीमा के पास ड्रोन द्वारा गिराई गई हथियारों की खेप उठाने के लिए पहले से सटीक लोकेशन, समय और अन्य आवश्यक निर्देश उपलब्ध कराए जाते थे। जैसे ही पाकिस्तान की ओर से ड्रोन भारतीय सीमा में प्रवेश कर तय स्थान पर हथियार गिराता था, आरोपी तुरंत वहां पहुंचकर खेप को सुरक्षित तरीके से अपने कब्जे में लेते और उसे नेटवर्क के अन्य सदस्यों तक पहुंचा देते थे। पुलिस के अनुसार यह पूरी प्रक्रिया बेहद गोपनीय और योजनाबद्ध तरीके से संचालित होती थी ताकि सुरक्षा एजेंसियों की नजर से बचा जा सके।
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की पहचान, मुख्य हैंडलर सोनू उर्फ सुखविंदर से थे सीधे संपर्क में
पुलिस द्वारा गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों की पहचान करण सिंह, गुरकीरत सिंह और अवतार सिंह के रूप में हुई है। जांच में सामने आया है कि तीनों आरोपी मुख्य हैंडलर सुखविंदर सिंह उर्फ सोनू के सीधे संपर्क में थे। पुलिस का कहना है कि सोनू पूरे नेटवर्क का संचालन कर रहा था और वही पाकिस्तान की ओर से आने वाली जानकारी इन आरोपियों तक पहुंचाता था। ड्रोन किस समय आएगा, हथियार कहां गिरेंगे, किस रास्ते से वहां पहुंचना है और खेप उठाने के बाद किस व्यक्ति तक पहुंचानी है, इन सभी बातों की जानकारी आरोपियों को पहले से उपलब्ध कराई जाती थी। इससे स्पष्ट होता है कि पूरा नेटवर्क अत्यधिक संगठित और तकनीकी रूप से प्रशिक्षित तरीके से काम कर रहा था।
ड्रोन से गिराए गए हथियारों की खेप तक पहुंचने के लिए भेजी जाती थी सटीक लोकेशन
पुलिस जांच में यह तथ्य सामने आया है कि आरोपियों को ड्रोन द्वारा गिराई जाने वाली खेप तक पहुंचने के लिए सटीक लोकेशन भेजी जाती थी। माना जा रहा है कि इसके लिए मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन, जीपीएस कोऑर्डिनेट्स तथा अन्य डिजिटल माध्यमों का उपयोग किया जाता था। इससे यह स्पष्ट होता है कि तस्करी का यह नेटवर्क आधुनिक तकनीक का भरपूर इस्तेमाल कर रहा था। सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के अनुसार इस तरह की गतिविधियां केवल हथियारों की तस्करी तक सीमित नहीं होतीं, बल्कि इनका उपयोग आतंकवादी गतिविधियों, संगठित अपराध और राष्ट्र विरोधी गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए भी किया जा सकता है। इसलिए इस पूरे मामले को अत्यधिक संवेदनशील मानते हुए जांच को कई स्तरों पर आगे बढ़ाया जा रहा है।

मुख्य आरोपी सुखविंदर सिंह उर्फ सोनू से पूछताछ बनी जांच की सबसे बड़ी कड़ी
पुलिस के अनुसार इस पूरे मामले में पहले गिरफ्तार किए गए मुख्य आरोपी सुखविंदर सिंह उर्फ सोनू से पूछताछ के दौरान कई महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियां प्राप्त हुईं। इन्हीं इनपुट्स के आधार पर पुलिस ने पंजाब के जलालाबाद और अबोहर क्षेत्रों में दबिश देकर तीनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पूछताछ के दौरान सोनू ने अपने सहयोगियों, ड्रोन ड्रॉप लोकेशन, हथियारों की डिलीवरी और नेटवर्क की कार्यप्रणाली से जुड़े कई अहम खुलासे किए। इन्हीं सूचनाओं के आधार पर पुलिस लगातार कार्रवाई कर रही है और आने वाले दिनों में इस मामले में और भी बड़े खुलासे होने की संभावना है।
एनडीपीएस एक्ट के पुराने मामलों से जुड़े मिले आरोपी, अपराध का लंबा इतिहास आया सामने
जांच में यह भी सामने आया है कि गिरफ्तार किए गए तीन आरोपियों में से दो के खिलाफ पहले से ही एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामले दर्ज हैं। इससे यह संकेत मिलता है कि नशा तस्करी और हथियार तस्करी के नेटवर्क कई बार एक-दूसरे से जुड़े होते हैं। पुलिस का मानना है कि संगठित अपराध करने वाले गिरोह अक्सर एक ही नेटवर्क का उपयोग विभिन्न प्रकार की अवैध गतिविधियों के लिए करते हैं। इसके अलावा एक आरोपी पहले भी ड्रोन से गिराई गई खेप उठाने में शामिल रह चुका है, जिससे यह स्पष्ट होता है कि यह नेटवर्क लंबे समय से सक्रिय था और इसके सदस्य पहले भी कई बार ऐसी गतिविधियों को अंजाम दे चुके हैं।

पुलिस जांच के दौरान मुख्य आरोपी सुखविंदर सिंह के रिश्तेदार अवतार सिंह की भूमिका भी सामने आई है। पुलिस उसे प्रोडक्शन वारंट पर लाकर पूछताछ कर रही है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि उससे पूछताछ के दौरान नेटवर्क के अन्य सदस्यों, सीमा पार बैठे हैंडलरों और हथियारों की सप्लाई चेन से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी मिलने की उम्मीद है। जांच एजेंसियां यह भी पता लगाने का प्रयास कर रही हैं कि अवतार सिंह की भूमिका केवल खेप उठाने तक सीमित थी या वह पूरे नेटवर्क के संचालन में भी सक्रिय रूप से शामिल था।
सीमा पार बैठे हैंडलरों और भारतीय नेटवर्क के बीच मजबूत समन्वय की आशंका
जांच में सामने आए तथ्यों से यह संकेत मिलता है कि पाकिस्तान में बैठे हैंडलर और भारत में सक्रिय सहयोगियों के बीच लगातार संपर्क बना हुआ था। ड्रोन ऑपरेशन की टाइमिंग, लोकेशन, खेप की रिकवरी और आगे की डिलीवरी जैसी गतिविधियां बिना मजबूत समन्वय के संभव नहीं हो सकतीं। सुरक्षा एजेंसियां अब मोबाइल कॉल रिकॉर्ड, डिजिटल चैट, सोशल मीडिया, जीपीएस डेटा, बैंकिंग लेनदेन और हवाला नेटवर्क सहित सभी संभावित पहलुओं की जांच कर रही हैं ताकि पूरे नेटवर्क की जड़ तक पहुंचा जा सके।
राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के लिए गंभीर चुनौती बनती जा रही है ड्रोन आधारित तस्करी

जांच अभी जारी, और गिरफ्तारियां संभव, पूरे नेटवर्क को ध्वस्त करने की तैयारी
