श्रीगंगानगर, राजस्थान: भारत-पाकिस्तान अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा पर राजस्थान के श्रीगंगानगर सेक्टर में सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने कथित सीमा पार नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी की एक बड़ी कोशिश को नाकाम कर दिया है। रावला बॉर्डर के 14 KND क्षेत्र में BSF की G Branch से मिले महत्वपूर्ण खुफिया इनपुट के बाद चलाए गए बड़े सर्च ऑपरेशन में किसान के खेत से करीब 5 किलो 600 ग्राम हेरोइन और 500 ग्राम अफीम बरामद होने की जानकारी सामने आई है। बरामद नशीले पदार्थों की अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कीमत करीब 30 करोड़ रुपये आंकी जा रही है। शुरुआती जानकारी के मुताबिक यह खेप पाकिस्तान की तरफ से ड्रोन के जरिए भारतीय क्षेत्र में पहुंचाई गई हो सकती है। पैकेटों के रस्सी से बंधे होने की जानकारी ने ड्रोन-डिलीवरी के शक को और मजबूत किया है। हालांकि ड्रोन की सटीक उड़ान, सीमा पार से खेप गिराए जाने की परिस्थितियों और इस पूरे नेटवर्क की पुष्टि जांच के बाद ही होगी। इस बड़े ऑपरेशन में BSF की G Branch और 140 बटालियन BSF की भूमिका बेहद अहम बताई जा रही है।
BSF G BRANCH का इनपुट बना पूरे ऑपरेशन की सबसे बड़ी कड़ी
रावला बॉर्डर पर हुई इस कार्रवाई की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी BSF की G Branch का खुफिया इनपुट है। सीमा सुरक्षा बल की यह इंटेलिजेंस विंग सीमा क्षेत्र में संदिग्ध गतिविधियों, तस्करी नेटवर्क और संभावित सुरक्षा खतरों से संबंधित सूचनाओं को विकसित करने और संबंधित एजेंसियों तक पहुंचाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। 14 KND क्षेत्र में संभावित नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी को लेकर मिले इनपुट के बाद G Branch ने पुलिस और अन्य संबंधित सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को अलर्ट किया। सूचना को गंभीरता से लेते हुए इलाके में सर्च ऑपरेशन शुरू किया गया। यही समय पर मिली सूचना आगे चलकर उस खेत तक सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को ले गई जहां संदिग्ध पैकेट बरामद हुए। यानी कथित तस्करी की योजना अगर ड्रोन के जरिए खेप गिराने से लेकर उसे भारतीय क्षेत्र में उठाकर आगे भेजने तक की थी, तो सुरक्षा एजेंसियों की कार्रवाई ने इस पूरी प्रक्रिया को बीच में ही रोक दिया।
पाकिस्तान की तरफ से ड्रोन के जरिए खेप आने का एंगल सबसे अहम
इस पूरे मामले में अब पाकिस्तान से ड्रोन के जरिए नशीले पदार्थ भेजे जाने का एंगल जांच के केंद्र में है। भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा के दूसरी तरफ से ड्रोन के जरिए नशीले पदार्थों की खेप भारतीय क्षेत्र में गिराए जाने की आशंका लंबे समय से सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के लिए चुनौती बनी हुई है। रावला के 14 KND में खेत से बरामद पैकेट रस्सी से बंधे बताए जा रहे हैं। यही वजह है कि सुरक्षा एजेंसियां यह जांच कर रही हैं कि क्या इन पैकेटों को किसी ड्रोन के जरिए अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा पार कर भारतीय क्षेत्र में गिराया गया था। अगर जांच में यह एंगल पुष्ट होता है तो यह मामला एक संगठित ड्रोन-आधारित सीमा पार तस्करी नेटवर्क की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण सुराग दे सकता है। जांच एजेंसियां अब संभावित ड्रोन रूट, डिलीवरी का समय, खेप गिराए जाने की जगह और भारतीय क्षेत्र में इसे हासिल करने वाले संभावित हैंडलर्स की पहचान पर फोकस करेंगी।
30 करोड़ की हेरोइन और अफीम की बड़ी बरामदगी
सर्च ऑपरेशन के दौरान बरामद हुई नशीले पदार्थों की मात्रा ने पूरे मामले को बेहद गंभीर बना दिया है। सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के मुताबिक करीब 5 किलो 600 ग्राम हेरोइन और 500 ग्राम अफीम बरामद हुई है। इस खेप की अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कीमत करीब 30 करोड़ रुपये बताई जा रही है। इतनी बड़ी मात्रा में हेरोइन की बरामदगी से अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है कि यह सिर्फ छोटी-मोटी तस्करी की खेप नहीं थी। जांच एजेंसियां अब यह पता लगाने की कोशिश करेंगी कि इसे कहां पहुंचाया जाना था और इसके पीछे कितने बड़े नेटवर्क की भूमिका हो सकती है। बरामद पदार्थों को कब्जे में लेकर नियमानुसार आगे की जांच और परीक्षण की प्रक्रिया शुरू की जा रही है।
140 बटालियन BSF की जमीनी कार्रवाई ने ऑपरेशन को दिया अंजाम
इस ऑपरेशन में 140 बटालियन BSF की भूमिका भी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण रही। किसी भी खुफिया इनपुट को वास्तविक ऑपरेशन में बदलने के लिए जमीन पर तैनात सुरक्षा बलों की तेज प्रतिक्रिया आवश्यक होती है। G Branch से मिले इनपुट के बाद संबंधित क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था सक्रिय हुई और सर्च अभियान शुरू किया गया। 140 बटालियन BSF के स्तर पर जमीनी कार्रवाई और क्षेत्र की निगरानी ने ऑपरेशन को आगे बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। इसी तरह के ऑपरेशन में खुफिया इनपुट और फील्ड फोर्स के बीच समय पर तालमेल ही सफलता की सबसे बड़ी कुंजी होता है। रावला की कार्रवाई इस तालमेल का एक महत्वपूर्ण उदाहरण बनकर सामने आई है।
खेत में रस्सी से बंधे पैकेट मिले, पूरे इलाके में मचा अलर्ट
14 KND क्षेत्र में किसान के खेत से मिले संदिग्ध पैकेटों ने सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को तुरंत सतर्क कर दिया। जानकारी के अनुसार पैकेट रस्सी से बंधे हुए थे। इस तरह की पैकिंग ने जांच एजेंसियों के सामने ड्रोन के जरिए खेप गिराए जाने की आशंका को प्रमुख कर दिया। खेत और उसके आसपास के क्षेत्र की गहन तलाशी ली गई और संदिग्ध सामग्री को सुरक्षित कब्जे में लिया गया। इसके बाद पूरे इलाके में सर्च ऑपरेशन को और विस्तारित किया गया ताकि यह पता लगाया जा सके कि कहीं इसी तस्करी ऑपरेशन से जुड़ी कोई अन्य खेप या संदिग्ध सामग्री आसपास तो नहीं छिपाई गई है।
पुलिस भी तत्काल सक्रिय, कांस्टेबल ओमप्रकाश का इनपुट महत्वपूर्ण
BSF के इंटेलिजेंस इनपुट के साथ स्थानीय पुलिस की भूमिका भी इस ऑपरेशन में महत्वपूर्ण रही। उपलब्ध जानकारी के अनुसार कांस्टेबल ओमप्रकाश से मिले महत्वपूर्ण इनपुट के बाद थानाधिकारी बलवंत कुमार और उनकी टीम ने कार्रवाई को आगे बढ़ाया। पुलिस और BSF ने मिलकर संदिग्ध क्षेत्र की तलाशी ली। सुरक्षा एजेंसियों की संयुक्त कार्रवाई का परिणाम यह रहा कि कथित तस्करी की खेप को भारतीय क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ने से पहले ही बरामद कर लिया गया। अब पुलिस और अन्य एजेंसियां इस बात की जांच कर रही हैं कि इस खेप के पीछे कौन लोग सक्रिय थे और भारतीय क्षेत्र में इसे हासिल करने वाला संभावित नेटवर्क कौन सा था।
CID और अन्य एजेंसियों की नजर अब पूरे नेटवर्क पर
मामला केवल खेत से नशीले पदार्थ बरामद होने तक सीमित नहीं है। अब जांच एजेंसियों की नजर उस पूरे नेटवर्क पर है जिसके जरिए कथित तौर पर यह खेप पाकिस्तान की तरफ से भारतीय क्षेत्र तक पहुंचाई गई। CID और अन्य संबंधित एजेंसियां मामले से जुड़े विभिन्न पहलुओं को खंगाल सकती हैं। जांच में यह पता लगाने की कोशिश होगी कि खेप कहां से आई, इसे सीमा पार कौन भेज रहा था, भारत की तरफ इसका रिसीवर कौन था और इसे बरामद होने के बाद किस दिशा में ले जाया जाना था। इसके अलावा यह भी जांच का हिस्सा होगा कि क्या यही नेटवर्क पहले भी ड्रोन के जरिए नशीले पदार्थ भेजने की किसी कोशिश में शामिल रहा है।
राजस्थान बॉर्डर पर BSF की ‘ईगल आई’ लगातार सक्रिय

अब असली निशाना तस्करों का पूरा नेटवर्क
सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के लिए अब सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह नहीं है कि खेप कहां मिली, बल्कि यह है कि खेप के पीछे कौन है। किस नेटवर्क ने कथित तौर पर इसे सीमा पार से भेजा? ड्रोन को कौन ऑपरेट कर रहा था? भारतीय क्षेत्र में इसे उठाने के लिए कौन आने वाला था? खेप को आगे कहां भेजा जाना था? क्या इसके पीछे पहले से सक्रिय कोई बड़ा ड्रग सिंडिकेट है? जांच एजेंसियां इन सभी सवालों के जवाब तलाशेंगी। बरामद पैकेट, उनकी पैकिंग, स्थान, समय और अन्य उपलब्ध साक्ष्यों को जोड़कर कथित तस्करी नेटवर्क की पूरी तस्वीर सामने लाने की कोशिश की जाएगी।
बरामदगी के बाद भी खत्म नहीं हुआ ऑपरेशन
खेप बरामद होने के बाद भी सुरक्षा एजेंसियों की कार्रवाई खत्म नहीं हुई है। आसपास के इलाके में सर्च ऑपरेशन जारी है। इसका उद्देश्य सिर्फ दूसरी खेप की तलाश करना नहीं, बल्कि संभावित हैंडलर्स के मूवमेंट और उनके रास्तों से जुड़े सुराग हासिल करना भी है। सुरक्षा एजेंसियां यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहती हैं कि कहीं कोई अन्य पैकेट, उपकरण या संदिग्ध सामग्री क्षेत्र में छिपी न रह गई हो। साथ ही इस संभावना को भी ध्यान में रखा जा रहा है कि कथित तस्करी नेटवर्क ने खेप उठाने के लिए आसपास कोई सुरक्षित स्थान या रास्ता पहले से चिन्हित किया हो।

A HIGH-STAKES BORDER OPERATION UNFOLDS IN RAJASTHAN
SRIGANGANAGAR, RAJASTHAN: A suspected Pakistan-linked drone smuggling operation has been foiled along the India-Pakistan international border in Rajasthan after a crucial intelligence alert from the BSF’s G Branch triggered a coordinated security operation in the Raoala border sector of Sri Ganganagar district.
The operation unfolded in the 14 KND area, where security personnel recovered a suspected narcotics consignment from an agricultural field. The packets were reportedly found tied with rope, raising suspicion that the consignment may have been delivered by a drone after crossing from the Pakistan side of the international border.
The recovery has emerged as a major counter-narcotics success, with approximately 5.6 kilograms of heroin and 500 grams of opium seized during the operation. The international-market value of the recovered narcotics is estimated at approximately ₹30 crore.
The operation assumes added significance because it was reportedly driven by a critical intelligence input from the BSF G Branch, the force’s intelligence wing. The G Branch alerted the police and other concerned agencies after developing information regarding the suspected narcotics movement, allowing security forces to launch a focused search before the consignment could be moved deeper into Indian territory.
The 140 Battalion BSF also played a key role in the ground-level security response.
THE INTELLIGENCE ALERT THAT CHANGED THE ENTIRE OPERATION
The most important element of the Raoala operation was not simply the recovery itself—it was the intelligence chain that led security personnel to the suspected consignment.
The BSF G Branch reportedly developed critical information regarding possible cross-border narcotics activity in the 14 KND area. The intelligence input was subsequently shared with the local police and other concerned agencies, triggering an immediate response.
This intelligence-led approach gave security agencies an opportunity to search the suspected area before the alleged smugglers could retrieve the consignment.
In border security operations, timing is critical. A drone-delivered consignment can potentially be collected within a short period after being dropped. Any delay can allow handlers on the ground to remove the contraband and disappear into the hinterland.
In the Raoala case, however, the intelligence input reportedly enabled the agencies to move quickly.
The search eventually led to an agricultural field, where suspicious packets were located.
What followed was the discovery of a major narcotics consignment estimated to be worth around ₹30 crore in the international market.
PAKISTAN-TO-INDIA DRONE ROUTE UNDER INVESTIGATION
The recovery has placed the suspected Pakistan-to-India drone route at the centre of the investigation.
The packets were reportedly found tied with rope, a method consistent with the possibility of an aerial delivery. Security agencies are therefore examining whether the consignment was dropped from a drone after crossing the international border from the Pakistan side.
The exact circumstances of the suspected drone movement are still under investigation.
Authorities are expected to examine available intelligence and other evidence to determine when the alleged delivery took place, where the drone may have originated, how it entered Indian airspace and who was waiting on the ground to collect the consignment.
The investigation will also seek to determine whether the incident was an isolated smuggling attempt or part of a larger organised network.
₹30-CRORE NARCOTICS CONSIGNMENT RECOVERED
The scale of the seizure has made the operation particularly significant.
