Sapta Shakti Command Pays Glorious Tribute to Kargil Heroes on Vijay Diwas
Motivational Events for Students and Tribute Ceremonies Mark the 26th July Observance in Jaipur
Jaipur, Saturday, 26 July 2025 – On the solemn occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Indian Army’s Sapta Shakti Command held a series of deeply patriotic events to commemorate India’s decisive military victory in the Kargil conflict of 1999. Known as Operation Vijay, the Kargil war witnessed the indomitable spirit, courage, and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who reclaimed Indian territory infiltrated by Pakistani forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Kargil victory, and Sapta Shakti Command observed the day with full military decorum and emotional depth. The highlight of the commemoration was the solemn wreath-laying ceremony led by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Sapta Shakti Command, at the Prerna Sthal, Jaipur Military Station.
The Army Commander paid floral tributes to the bravehearts of the Kargil War and lauded their ultimate sacrifice for the nation. Addressing the gathering, Lt Gen Singh expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Veer Naris, families of martyred soldiers, and veterans whose legacy continues to inspire generations. He also saluted the undying spirit of Indian soldiers and emphasized the need for eternal vigilance to safeguard Bharat’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“Let us draw inspiration from our Kargil heroes and remain ever ready to uphold our nation’s honour,” the Army Commander stated while addressing officers and troops.
Young Minds Steeped in Patriotism
In a unique initiative to carry forward the spirit of nation-building, Sapta Shakti Command organised a special motivational programme for school children at Prerna Sthal. The event was designed to bridge the legacy of past military heroism with the aspirations of the next generation.
A young and dynamic Army officer of Sapta Shakti Command delivered an inspiring address, urging students to emulate the virtues of bravery, discipline, and service demonstrated by Indian soldiers during Kargil. He encouraged them to take pride in India’s military history and to serve the nation in whichever field they choose.
The children then participated in an interactive guided tour of Prerna Sthal, where they were introduced to stories of courage and sacrifice. This was followed by a visit to the Battle Park and Equipment Display Area, showcasing advanced weaponry, surveillance systems, and battlefield logistics. The display aimed to give students a firsthand understanding of the Indian Army’s technological prowess and operational capabilities.
From detailed accounts of battlefield tactics to displays of modern armaments, the event offered a wholesome educational and emotional experience. The school children were visibly moved, and many expressed a desire to join the armed forces, inspired by the legacy of Kargil’s Veer Yodhas.
National Pride Resonates Across Rajasthan
The celebration at Jaipur Military Station is part of a nationwide observance, with similar events taking place in Dras, Delhi, and other military establishments. However, Jaipur’s tribute stood out for its focus on civil-military connect, education, and grassroots patriotic awareness.
The message from Sapta Shakti Command was clear: the Indian Army not only defends the borders but also sows the seeds of nationalism and discipline among the youth. With such initiatives, the torch of patriotism passes on from the sentinels of today to the leaders of tomorrow.

प्रेरणा स्थल पर पुष्पांजलि, छात्रों के लिए प्रेरक कार्यक्रम और सैन्य प्रदर्शनी से भरा राष्ट्रभक्ति का दिन
जयपुर, शनिवार, 26 जुलाई 2025 – भारतीय सेना की वीरता, शौर्य और राष्ट्र सेवा की अनूठी गाथा ‘कारगिल युद्ध’ की स्मृति में सप्त शक्ति कमांड ने जयपुर में कारगिल विजय दिवस अत्यंत श्रद्धा, सम्मान और देशभक्ति के साथ मनाया। वर्ष 1999 में पाकिस्तान द्वारा नियंत्रण रेखा (LoC) पर की गई घुसपैठ के जवाब में भारतीय सेना ने ऑपरेशन विजय के तहत उन्हें खदेड़ कर भारतीय भूमि पुनः प्राप्त की थी। यह विजय भारत के सैन्य इतिहास का एक स्वर्णिम अध्याय है।
इस ऐतिहासिक विजय की 26वीं वर्षगांठ पर जयपुर स्थित प्रेरणा स्थल पर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह, आर्मी कमांडर, सप्त शक्ति कमांड ने शहीद वीरों को श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने वीर नारियों, पूर्व सैनिकों एवं कारगिल में शहीद हुए सैनिकों के परिजनों को नमन किया और भारतीय सेना की गौरवशाली परंपरा को याद किया।
“वीरता और बलिदान की इस विरासत से हमें प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए और भारत की अखंडता व संप्रभुता की रक्षा हेतु सदैव सजग रहना चाहिए,” जनरल सिंह ने कहा।
नई पीढ़ी को सैन्य प्रेरणा से जोड़ा
विजय दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में, प्रेरणा स्थल पर स्कूली छात्रों के लिए एक विशेष प्रेरणादायक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य नई पीढ़ी को भारतीय सेना की शौर्यगाथाओं से जोड़ना और उनमें राष्ट्र सेवा की भावना उत्पन्न करना था।
सप्त शक्ति कमांड के एक युवा सैन्य अधिकारी ने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए वीरता, अनुशासन और राष्ट्रभक्ति के मूल्यों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत का हर युवा अपने क्षेत्र में श्रेष्ठता प्राप्त करके राष्ट्र की सेवा कर सकता है।
इसके पश्चात छात्रों को प्रेरणा स्थल का भ्रमण कराया गया, जहां उन्होंने कारगिल के वीरों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। इसके साथ ही बच्चों ने बैटल पार्क और सैन्य उपकरण प्रदर्शनी क्षेत्र का अवलोकन किया, जहां उन्हें आधुनिक हथियार, निगरानी प्रणालियां और सेना के अभियानों के बारे में जानकारी दी गई।
देशभक्ति की भावना से ओतप्रोत माहौल
इस अवसर ने न केवल वीरगति को प्राप्त सैनिकों के प्रति सम्मान व्यक्त किया, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ी में देश के लिए समर्पण की भावना भी रोपित की। छात्रों ने उत्साहपूर्वक कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया और कई विद्यार्थियों ने आगे चलकर भारतीय सेना में सेवा करने की इच्छा जताई।
जयपुर स्थित सप्त शक्ति कमांड द्वारा आयोजित यह समारोह अन्य सैन्य प्रतिष्ठानों द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रमों की तरह ही ऐतिहासिक और भावनात्मक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण रहा। यहां पर विशेष रूप से सिविल-सैन्य समन्वय और युवाओं में देशभक्ति का संचार केंद्र में रहा।
यह आयोजन इस बात का प्रतीक है कि भारतीय सेना केवल सीमा की रक्षा ही नहीं करती, बल्कि देश की चेतना को भी जाग्रत करती है।
