युद्धाभ्यास के शुरुआती चरण में ही इंफैंट्री और मैकेनाइज्ड फॉर्मेशंस ने तेज गति से अग्रसर होकर अग्रिम रेखा का निर्माण किया। BMP और MBT टैंकों की गड़गड़ाहट से रेत की सतह कांप उठी। दूसरी ओर, एयर डिफेंस यूनिट्स ने लो-फ्लाइंग हवाई खतरों के खिलाफ अपने त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया तंत्र का प्रदर्शन किया। आर्टिलरी फायर सपोर्ट ने दूरस्थ लक्ष्यों पर सटीक वार करते हुए ऑपरेशन को विश्वसनीयता दी।
