The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotic fervour at SJPS, coinciding with the completion of 76 glorious years of the Indian Constitution. The occasion was marked as a grand annual celebration reflecting the spirit of constitutional values, discipline, and national responsibility. The event was graced by renowned industrialist and social worker Shri Riddh Karan Sethia as the Chief Guest, who hoisted the national tricolour in the presence of School Chairman Shri Vijay Kumar Kochar, Secretary CA Manakchand Kochar, esteemed members of the school committee, Principal Roopshree Sipani, Administrator Vishwajeet Gaur, and the entire teaching fraternity. The celebration began with the release of tricolour balloons symbolizing prosperity, unity, and the collective aspiration for a peaceful and progressive nation.

Following the flag hoisting, the Annual Awards Ceremony for the academic session 2024–25 commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, invocation through the Navkar Mahamantra, and the soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana and prayer songs by the school family. The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed with a garland, shawl, bouquet, and a commemorative memento, reflecting the institution’s deep-rooted tradition of respect and gratitude. Addressing the gathering, the School Chairman shared insightful thoughts on the essence of the Indian Constitution, the importance of adhering to rules, and the responsibility of every citizen to contribute meaningfully to national development.

A major highlight of the ceremony was the extensive awards distribution, recognizing students from Classes 1 to 12 for outstanding academic achievements. Students who secured excellent results, achieved 100% marks in specific subjects, and maintained 100% attendance were honoured with certificates of merit and mementoes. Teachers who delivered exceptional board examination results were felicitated with a cash reward of ₹5,000, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to quality education.
Prestigious Institutional Awards and Scholarships
Under prestigious award categories such as the Dhan Kiran Award, RBS Kochar Award, and Mahamana Shivbakshi Award, selected students were presented with a ₹11,000 cash prize, certificates, and mementoes. These awards not only recognized academic excellence but also encouraged values like perseverance, discipline, and integrity. Vanshika Sethia (Class 9) and Divyanshu Soni (Class 7) were honoured with a ₹2,100 cash award each for their essay writing achievements in the prestigious ‘Veergatha’ competition, having been awarded by the Bikaner District Collector. Additionally, Avantika Joshi (Class 9) was felicitated for winning a Gold Medal at the National Level Chess Championship, highlighting SJPS’s excellence in co-curricular and sports activities.
Outstanding Board Performance Brings City-Level Glory
A moment of immense pride for the institution was the honouring of Yukti Bajaj (Class 12), who secured the top position at the city level in the Board Examinations. She was awarded a cash prize of ₹25,000, acknowledging her hard work, discipline, and academic brilliance. Her achievement stood as an inspiration for fellow students to strive for excellence with dedication and determination.

In his address, Chief Guest Shri Riddh Karan Sethia motivated students to move ahead with effective time management and a balanced approach towards life. एसजेपीएस में 77वाँ गणतंत्र दिवस भारतीय संविधान के लागू होने के 76 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में अत्यंत हर्षोल्लास और गरिमा के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय का गौरवमय वार्षिक उत्सव भी आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि प्रसिद्ध उद्योगपति एवं समाजसेवी श्री रिद्ध करण सेठिया रहे, जिन्होंने शालाध्यक्ष श्री विजय कुमार कोचर, सचिव सीए माणकचंद कोचर, शाला समिति के गणमान्य सदस्य, प्रधानाचार्या रूपश्री सिपानी, व्यवस्थापक विश्वजीत गौड़ एवं समस्त अध्यापकगण की उपस्थिति में तिरंगा ध्वज फहराया। तिरंगे गुब्बारों के साथ देश की समृद्धि, शांति और खुशहाली की मंगलकामना की गई।

ध्वजारोहण के पश्चात सत्र 2024–25 के लिए वार्षिक पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्वलन, नवकार महामंत्र, सरस्वती वंदना एवं प्रार्थना गीतों के साथ किया गया। विद्यालय परिवार द्वारा मुख्य अतिथि का माला, शॉल, गुलदस्ता एवं स्मृति चिह्न भेंट कर हार्दिक अभिनंदन किया गया। इस अवसर पर शालाध्यक्ष ने संविधान की मूल भावना, नियमों की पालना तथा राष्ट्रहित में कार्य करने के महत्व पर अपने विचार साझा किए।

समारोह में कक्षा 1 से 12वीं तक श्रेष्ठ शैक्षणिक परिणाम देने वाले विद्यार्थियों, विषय विशेष में 100 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त करने वालों एवं 100 प्रतिशत उपस्थिति वाले विद्यार्थियों को प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं स्मृति चिह्न प्रदान किए गए। उत्कृष्ट बोर्ड परीक्षा परिणाम देने वाले शिक्षकों को ₹5,000 का चेक प्रदान कर उनके योगदान को सम्मानित किया गया।

धन किरण अवार्ड, आरबीएस कोचर अवार्ड एवं महामना शिवबक्शी अवार्ड के अंतर्गत चयनित विद्यार्थियों को ₹11,000 का चेक, प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं स्मृति चिन्ह प्रदान किए गए। ये पुरस्कार विद्यार्थियों में निरंतर प्रयास, अनुशासन और उत्कृष्टता के प्रति प्रेरणा का स्रोत बने।
जिला, राज्य एवं राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उपलब्धियों का सम्मान
बीकानेर जिला कलेक्टर द्वारा पुरस्कृत वंशिका सेठिया (कक्षा 9) एवं दिव्यांशु सोनी (कक्षा 7) को ‘वीरगाथा’ प्रतियोगिता में निबंध लेखन हेतु ₹2,100 का नगद पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। वहीं अवंतिका जोशी (कक्षा 9) को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर शतरंज में स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त करने पर विशेष रूप से सम्मानित किया गया।
बोर्ड परीक्षा में शहर स्तर पर विद्यालय की गौरवपूर्ण उपलब्धि
कक्षा 12वीं की युक्ति बजाज, जिन्होंने बीकानेर शहर स्तर पर बोर्ड परीक्षा में शीर्ष स्थान प्राप्त किया, को ₹25,000 का नगद पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया। उनकी यह उपलब्धि विद्यालय के लिए गर्व का विषय बनी और अन्य विद्यार्थियों के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत सिद्ध हुई।
