The rural sporting spirit of India came alive under the floodlights of Gurukul B.L. Mohta Learning Institute, Sinthal, where the fourth day of the All-India Volleyball Championship turned into a captivating celebration of athletic excellence, emotional energy, and community pride. The mega sports festival, inspired by the nation’s “Khelo India” vision, has transformed this quiet village near Bikaner into a vibrant hub of national-level talent, unity, and enthusiasm.
As dusk fell, thousands of spectators continued to remain glued to their seats, cheering for every smash, block, pass, and serve executed on the glowing courts. The electrifying evening atmosphere — echoing with applause, rhythmic chants, and sportsmanship — showcased how deeply rooted the love for volleyball is across India’s grassroots.
National Teams, National Aspirations
According to Chairman Babulal Mohta, more than 64 elite teams from across the country are participating in the event. The lineup includes top-ranking teams such as Indian Oil, SBI, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Rajasthan, making the tournament a rare opportunity for rural audiences to witness high-level competitive volleyball up close.
Different categories — shooting ball, passing ball, white ball, and smashing — allowed players to showcase diverse skill sets, turning each match into a thrilling display of technique and raw talent. The crowd roared as every team fought with passion, turning the day into a memorable event for both young and old sports lovers alike.
Thrilling Final Matches & Rewarding Achievements
The final matches were played on 26 October, where remarkable performances kept the excitement soaring.
In the Passing Ball (Women’s Category), the Chandigarh team emerged victorious, showcasing polished teamwork and sharp execution. In the Shooting Ball (Women’s Category), Delhi clinched the title through aggressive play and relentless momentum.
The men’s division witnessed nail-biting encounters as Oil India Jodhpur and SBI Jaipur squared off in a match that had every spectator at the edge of their seats. The face-off between Maheshwari Samaj Gajner and Napasar teams further added to the drama, making the day a pure feast for volleyball enthusiasts.
Prize money worth ₹51,000 to winners, ₹31,000 to runners-up, and ₹11,000 to third-place teams, along with prestigious trophies, not only recognised the champions but also motivated emerging talent from rural India.
A Vision Beyond Competition: Building Rural Sports Infrastructure
Principal Dr. Saroj Rathore shared that the institution, under the guidance of Rajasthan Sports Minister K. K. Vishnoi, is progressing towards establishing both indoor and outdoor stadiums with government support.
She emphasized that such national-scale events in remote regions create avenues for young athletes, enabling them to polish their skills and pursue professional sports careers.
“This platform isn’t just for competition — it is for identifying hidden gems in rural India,” she affirmed, highlighting the pivotal role of such initiatives.
Motivational Leadership & Community Support
Spiritual leader Swami Rameshwaranand Ji Maharaj graced the event with his presence, delivering a powerful message that struck a chord with players and youth alike:
“Sports do not merely strengthen the body — they instill discipline, unity, and positivity in life. When institutions like Gurukul Sinthal fuel the fire of sports in rural India, it becomes a national contribution, a devotion towards nation-building.”
Former MLA Bihari Lal Bishnoi echoed his sentiments, saying:
“Talent in rural India is limitless — all they need is an opportunity. Through ‘Khelo India’ initiatives, players from villages are stepping into national and global arenas. This tournament reflects that dream and is carving a new identity for Rajasthan on the sports map.”

फाइनल मुकाबलों में खिलाड़ियों ने दिखाया दमखम, स्वामी रामेश्वरानंद जी महाराज व पूर्व विधायक बिहारीलाल बिश्नोई ने की शिरकत
बीकानेर। गुरुकुल बी.एल. मोहता लर्निंग इंस्टिट्यूट, सींथल में चल रहे अखिल भारतीय वॉलीबॉल प्रतियोगिता के महाकुंभ का चौथा दिन उत्साह और रोमांच से भरपूर रहा। दूधिया रोशनी में खेले गए मुकाबलों ने दर्शकों को देर रात तक मैदान में थामे रखा। पूरे वातावरण में खेल भावना और जोश का आलम रहा।
अध्यक्ष बाबूलाल मोहता ने बताया कि चौथे दिन दर्शकों ने शूटिंग बॉल, पासिंग बॉल, सफेद बॉल और स्मैशिंग जैसे रोमांचक मैचों का भरपूर आनंद लिया। खिलाड़ियों ने बेहतरीन खेल कौशल का प्रदर्शन करते हुए दर्शकों से खूब तालियां बटोरीं।
पासिंग बॉल वर्ग में विजेता टीम को ₹51,000, उपविजेता टीम को ₹31,000 और तीसरे स्थान पर रही टीम को ₹11,000 की पुरस्कार राशि एवं आकर्षक ट्रॉफी प्रदान की गई। प्रतियोगिता का फाइनल मुकाबला 26 अक्टूबर 2025 को गुरुकुल प्रांगण में खेला गया।
प्रतियोगिता में देशभर की 64 से अधिक टीमों ने भाग लिया, जिनमें इंडियन ऑयल, एसबीआई, गुजरात, हरियाणा, पंजाब, चंडीगढ़, राजस्थान और दिल्ली जैसी प्रमुख टीमें शामिल रहीं। खेल प्रेमियों के लिए यह आयोजन एक यादगार अनुभव बन गया।
समापन दिवस पर फाइनल मुकाबले खेले गए, जिनमें पासिंग महिला वर्ग में चंडीगढ़ ने जीत दर्ज की, वहीं शूटिंग बॉल महिला वर्ग में दिल्ली की टीम विजेता रही। पुरुष वर्ग में ऑयल इंडिया जोधपुर और एसबीआई जयपुर के बीच कड़ा मुकाबला हुआ। इसके अलावा माहेश्वरी समाज गजनेर और नापासर के बीच खेला गया मैच दर्शकों के आकर्षण का केंद्र रहा।
प्राचार्य डॉ. सरोज राठौड़ ने बताया कि खेल मंत्री के के विश्नोई के मार्गदर्शन में संस्था शीघ्र ही सरकार के सहयोग से ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में एक इंडोर एवं आउटडोर स्टेडियम के निर्माण की दिशा में अग्रसर है। उन्होंने कहा कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में इस प्रकार का राष्ट्रीय स्तर का आयोजन खेल प्रतिभाओं को निखारने और उन्हें नई दिशा देने का कार्य कर रहा है।
स्वामी रामेश्वरानंद जी महाराज ने अपने आशीर्वचन में कहा कि खेल न केवल शारीरिक स्फूर्ति देते हैं, बल्कि जीवन में अनुशासन, एकता और सकारात्मकता का संचार भी करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि गुरुकुल सींथल जैसे संस्थान जब ग्रामीण भारत में खेलों की ज्योति जलाते हैं, तो यह केवल खेल नहीं, बल्कि राष्ट्र निर्माण की दिशा में एक साधना बन जाती है।
इस अवसर पर पूर्व विधायक बिहारीलाल बिश्नोई ने कहा कि “ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में प्रतिभाओं की कोई कमी नहीं है, जरूरत केवल मंच और प्रोत्साहन की है। खेलो इंडिया जैसी योजनाओं ने गांवों से निकलने वाले खिलाड़ियों को राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर तक पहुँचने का अवसर दिया है। गुरुकुल सींथल में आयोजित यह प्रतियोगिता ‘खेलो इंडिया’ की भावना को साकार कर रही है और राजस्थान को खेल मानचित्र पर नई पहचान दे रही है।”
स्वामी रामेश्वरानंद जी महाराज के सानिध्य में संपन्न हुए इस आयोजन में स्थानीय नागरिकों, विद्यार्थियों, पूर्व खिलाड़ियों और खेल प्रेमियों ने बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थिति दर्ज कर खिलाड़ियों का उत्साह बढ़ाया।
गुरुकुल परिसर में गूंजते नारों और तालियों के साथ जब विजेता टीमों को सम्मानित किया गया, तो पूरा वातावरण उत्साह और गर्व से भर उठा।
