The distinguished Raksha Rajya Mantri, Shri Ajay Bhatt, graced the esteemed premises of Sainik School Ghorakhal on December 17, 2023. The Principal, Group Captain VS Dangwal, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest upon arrival. The faculty and staff joined in this momentous occasion to celebrate the remarkable progress of Sainik School Ghorakhal.

The distinguished dignitary ceremoniously inaugurated the renovated swimming pool equipped with state-of-the-art water heating system costing approx Rs fifty lakh and an advanced artificial grass volleyball court costing approx Rs fifteen lakh.

This momentous event marked a significant step forward in enhancing the school’s facilities and providing students with additional avenues for physical fitness and sportsmanship. The ‘Swimming Pool’ and ‘Volleyball Court’ are not only infrastructure additions but also symbols of school authority’s commitment to holistic development. The Honourable Minister’s generous grant of Rs. 5 lakh towards the enhancement of existing facilities at the NDA Motivational Hall is a commendable gesture that will serve to further inspire and motivate cadets in their pursuit of joining the Defence services and serving our great nation. Additionally, he expressed his vision to make this school the best in the country and promised all necessary support for its betterment. During his address, he lauded Principal Group Captain Vijay Dangwal and his team for consistently achieving various milestones in school and sending the highest number of cadets to NDA over the years.
