Jaipur, Rajasthan – When vision is lost, many lose hope, but for the courageous girls of Divya Jyoti Drishtibadhit Kanya Shikshan Sansthan and Rehabilitation Centre, Jaipur, losing sight has never meant losing direction. Under the leadership of founder-director Renu Sharma, the institute has been tirelessly working to empower visually impaired girls through education, music, and life skills, helping them soar beyond the limitations imposed by their disability.
Recently, the institute made headlines again when its student, Hema, won First Prize at the prestigious All India Visually Impaired Music Competition held in Jodhpur in June. The event was graced by notable personalities, including MLA Shri Atul Bhansali and other eminent dignitaries, who personally felicitated Hema for her outstanding performance.
Hema’s journey is a shining example of perseverance. Despite participating in several music competitions in the past where she secured second or third positions, Hema never gave up. Her relentless dedication and belief in herself finally earned her the top spot, filling her family, teachers, and the entire institute with immense pride.
But Hema is not alone in her triumph. The institute continues to script success stories for many other girls. Manisha Kumari, originally from Bharatpur, lost her vision at the tender age of 16, which shattered her confidence and paused her education. However, after joining Divya Jyoti Sansthan, Manisha resumed her studies in Braille script after a gap of 11 years. Undeterred by her circumstances, Manisha appeared for her Class 12 board exams and secured First Division with 66.7% marks, a remarkable achievement reflecting her hard work and the unwavering support of the institute.
Similarly, Palak Gupta from Bhilwara faced educational disruptions after losing her eyesight at the age of 11. But with the constant motivation and guidance from the institute, Palak restarted her education after eight long years through Braille. She successfully cleared her Class 10 exams with 75.2% marks, securing First Division, and once again proved that no challenge is insurmountable with the right guidance.
Adding to these achievements is the inspiring story of Krishna Fagna from Kotputli. Divya Jyoti Sansthan took a special initiative to assist Krishna by filling her Class 10 exam form, providing study materials, and offering regular guidance. Krishna’s hard work bore fruit when she scored 64.6% marks in the Class 10 board exams, securing First Division.
Speaking on these achievements, Founder-Director Renu Sharma expressed immense pride and congratulated all the students. She said, “When you have faith in God and determination in your heart, victory is certain. These girls have proven that courage, hard work, and the right support system can make anything possible.”

दृष्टिबाधित छात्राओं ने दिखाया जज़्बा, जयपुर की दिव्य ज्योति सेवा संस्थान की बच्चियों ने बनाई सफलता की मिसाल
जयपुर। दृष्टिबाधित होने का अर्थ यह नहीं कि जीवन रुक जाता है। इसे साबित कर दिखाया है जयपुर स्थित दिव्य ज्योति दृष्टिबाधित कन्या शिक्षण संस्थान एवं पुनर्वास केंद्र की छात्राओं ने। संस्था की संस्थापिका एवं संचालिका रेनू शर्मा के नेतृत्व में यह संस्थान वर्षों से दृष्टिबाधित बेटियों को शिक्षा, संगीत और जीवन कौशल के ज़रिए आत्मनिर्भर बनाने का कार्य कर रहा है।
संस्था की होनहार छात्राओं ने हाल ही में एक बार फिर साबित कर दिया कि अगर हौसले बुलंद हो तो कोई भी बाधा रास्ता नहीं रोक सकती। जोधपुर में आयोजित अखिल भारतीय दृष्टिबाधित संगीत प्रतियोगिता में संस्था की छात्रा हेमा ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए प्रथम पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। कार्यक्रम में जोधपुर के विधायक श्रीमान अतुल भंसाली सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने हेमा को सम्मानित किया।
हेमा की सफलता केवल उनकी प्रतिभा की नहीं बल्कि उनके अदम्य साहस और लगातार मेहनत की कहानी है। पहले कई बार विभिन्न संगीत प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने के बावजूद हेमा को द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान ही मिलते रहे, लेकिन उसने हार नहीं मानी और इस बार प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त कर पूरे संस्थान और परिवार का नाम रोशन किया।
इसी तरह, संस्था की एक और छात्रा मनीषा कुमारी, जो कि भरतपुर की रहने वाली है, 16 वर्ष की उम्र में दृष्टि बाधित हो गई थी। इससे वह पूरी तरह निराश हो गई थी और उसकी पढ़ाई भी रुक गई थी। लेकिन दिव्य ज्योति संस्थान में आने के बाद मनीषा ने 11 साल बाद ब्रेल लिपि के माध्यम से अपनी पढ़ाई फिर शुरू की और 12वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा में 66.7 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। यह केवल मनीषा की नहीं बल्कि पूरे संस्थान की उपलब्धि है।
भीलवाड़ा की पलक गुप्ता, जो 11 साल की उम्र में दृष्टिबाधित हो गई थी, ने भी 8 साल बाद ब्रेल लिपि से पढ़ाई शुरू कर 10वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा दी और 75.2 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। पलक की मेहनत और संस्थान के मार्गदर्शन का यह परिणाम पूरे प्रदेश में चर्चा का विषय बन गया है।
इसके अतिरिक्त कोटपुतली का कृष्णा फागना, जिसे संस्थान ने मानवीय पहल करते हुए कृष्णा का 10वीं का फॉर्म भरवाया, अध्ययन सामग्री उपलब्ध करवाई और समय-समय पर मार्गदर्शन दिया। नतीजतन, कृष्णा ने 10वीं कक्षा में 64.6 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त किए और प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया।
संस्था की संस्थापिका रेनू शर्मा ने इन सभी छात्राओं को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा, “अगर मन में विश्वास और ईश्वर में आस्था हो तो कोई भी बाधा जीत से नहीं रोक सकती। हमारी बेटियों ने यह साबित कर दिखाया है।”
दिव्य ज्योति दृष्टिबाधित कन्या शिक्षण संस्थान आज उन तमाम बेटियों के लिए आशा की किरण बन चुका है, जो परिस्थितियों से हार मान लेती हैं। यहां बेटियों को न केवल शिक्षा दी जाती है, बल्कि उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर और समाज के लिए प्रेरणा बनने के योग्य भी बनाया जाता है।
