WORLD HEALTH DAY 2024: MY HEALTH, MY RIGHT

World Health Day 2024 was celebrated at Military Station Roorkee by Military Hospital & SHO (L) Roorkee on 08 Apr & 09 Apr 2024, with the theme “My Health My Right”.
As part of the commemoration of World Health Day, an interschool drawing & poster competition was organized at Army Public School, No. 01 on 08th April 2024.
A lecture on ‘World Health Day and its importance was delivered by Major K Sumit, Officer Commanding, SHO (L) Roorkee in which he explained to audience about ‘Right to Health’.
A panel discussion on adolescent health was organized on 09th April at APS 01 where expert panellist Brigadier V V Tewari, Commandant, Military Hospital Roorkee, Major Souvik Nandy, Gynaecologist, Military Hospital Roorkee, Lieutenant Colonel Jay Shree, Nursing Officer and Major K Sumit, SHO, Roorkee enlightened the audience on topic of adolescent Health and cleared doubt of students. The discussion was moderated by Miss Sumati Sharma, teacher from APS 01.
The Panel discussion was followed by prize distribution of poster competition prizes were distributed by Brigadier V V Tewari, Commandant, Military Hospital Roorkee and Mrs. Ritu Dogra, Principal, APS 1.
Total 115 students and teachers attended the event.
