The 9th Dignagar Online International English Poetry Festival was organized and hosted by well-known English language poet Gobinda Biswas from Dignagar, Nadia, West Bengal, India.The poetry reading session continued for nearly three hours at virtual platform of Google meet. In total 40 revered and renowned poets from various countries across the world participated in this mega event.
Dr Shalini Yadav, Rajeev Moothedath, Priyanka Ghosh, Molly Joseph, Anuradha Bhattacharjyya, T. Sreelatha, Tejaswini Patil, Manisha Singh, Janatha Ramanathan, Manoj Kumar Shukla, Meher Pestonji, Suchismita Ghoshal, Anita Sharma, Archana Bahadur Zutshi, Manju SM, Prasanna Kkumar, Manju Viswabharathi, Prasanna Bhatta, Vikky P Wankhede, Parimal Shekhar Bharati and Manami Nag recited their aesthetic poetic pieces from India.
Richard Spisak from USA, Tarik Gunersel from Turkey, Lilla Latus and Alicja Maria from Poland, Deena Padayachee from South Africa, Joan Santillan Amurao from Philippines, David Leo Sirois from Canada, Isaac Cohen from Israel, Tanja Ajtik from Serbia & Canada, Johanna Dayavu Lawrie from Switzerland & India, Mircea Dan Duta from Romania,
Anne Marie from South America, Pantas Pangihutan S from Indonesia, Louisa Calio from Jamaika & USA, Prottay Dutta Supro from Bangladesh, A’zam Obidov from Ujbekistan, Pham Van Binh from Vietnam and Lucilla Trapazzo from Italy & Switzerland graced the occasion with their presence and wonderful recitations.
Host Poet Gobinda Biswas commendably tried to make a bridge between poets of whole world treating it as a global village by organizing this wonderful poetry session.
