Air Force Medical Training Centre Hosts Seminar on Wellness in Armed Forces

The Medical Training Centre (MTC) of the Air Force, a prestigious training institute of the Indian Air Force, successfully conducted a two-day Paramedical Seminar titled ‘Wellness in Armed Forces through Primary Health Care’ on August 9-10, 2024.

The seminar was inaugurated by Air Marshal Rajesh Vaidya, Director General Medical Services (Air), who attended as the Chief Guest.

This significant event saw participation from Medical Assistants across various units of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, reflecting a tri-service approach to enhancing healthcare in the military.

The seminar provided a collaborative platform for these professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss innovations in primary health care aimed at improving wellness among armed forces personnel.

The sessions during the seminar focused on various aspects of primary health care, including preventive measures, mental health strategies, and the management of common medical conditions encountered in military settings.
