Bharat Institute Of Engineering And Technology Organised One Week Faculty Development Program On Telemedicine 6.0: Advancing Faculty Proficiency Through AI , ML and 6G Sponsored By AICTE Atal Academy
The One Week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Telemedicine 6.0 : Advancing Faculty Proficiency through AI, ML and 6 G from 11th Dec to 16th Dec 2023 covered a diverse range of topics, providing valuable insights and learning outcomes for participants. Total 50 Faculties from Engineering Colleges all over the country participated in this one week FDP Program. Dr. Abhinav Kumar from IIT Hyderabad presented sessions on 6G and URLLC for Healthcare 4.0, as well as Machine Learning techniques for healthcare. These sessions delivered the cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of healthcare, offering participants an understanding of the role of advanced communication networks and machine learning in healthcare applications. Dr. Anil Kumar Vuppala from IIIT Hyderabad contributed with a session on Research Methodology, providing essential skills for effective research in the field. The industrial visit to Atal Incubation Center at IIIT Hyderabad offered practical exposure to the incubation environment. Subsequent sessions by Dr. Aneesh Chivukula from BITS Pilani covered Generative Artificial Intelligence Applications and Computational Algorithms for Deep Learning in Bioinformatics, enriching participants’ knowledge in the intersection of AI and health data sciences. Dr. Ashok Das from IIIT Hyderabad focused on Cryptographic primitives, their usage in blockchain technology, and the impact of AI/ML in blockchain-based IoT-enabled healthcare applications, bridging the gap between security, blockchain, and healthcare technologies. Dr. Debasis Das from IIT Jodhpur shared expertise in Human Activity Recognition using Deep Learning and presented a Patient-Centric, Secure, and Privacy-Preserving Medical Framework with Zero-Leak using Blockchain. Finally, Mr. T Vidyasagar from TCS discussed the transformative potential of AI in the health industry, offering participants strategic insights into leveraging AI for healthcare transformation. The FDP was organised under the guidance of Chief Patron and Chairman Ch Venugopal Reddy, Former Director DRDO Prof G Kumaraswamy Rao, Convener Dr Papiya Dutta , Co Convener Dr Satyabrata Singha and Dr Subhajit Aich. The faculty Members actively involved were Dr V Kannan , Dr TV Ramkrishna , Mr I .Ravikumar, Mr Surendar Reddy, Dr Vedavalli, Mrs Naheed Akhtar, Ms Pooja Nair, Mr Sankara Reddy, Mr Pradeep Chavan.
