In a ceremonial event celebrating resilience and determination, Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi felicitated Indian Army sportspersons and their support teams who participated in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. The Indian Army was proudly represented by four remarkable athletes in the Para Athletics Contingent. Subedar Soman Rana showcased his skills in shotput, while Subedar K Narayana competed in rowing. Naib Subedar Hokato Sema earned a bronze medal in shotput, and Naib Subedar Amir Ahmad Bhat participated in shooting events, demonstrating exceptional skill and perseverance.
