INS SHARDA DEPARTS PORT ANTSIRANANA, MADGASCAR

INS Sharda, Indian Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessel visited Port Antsiranana, Madagascar from 17-20 Nov 23 as part of her ongoing operational deployment. During the ship’s visit, the Commanding Officer paid courtesy calls on Malagasy dignitaries and senior defence officers. Personnel from Indian and Malagasy Navy were engaged in wide range of professional interactions and training exchanges.
As part of the community outreach activity, a medical camp was organised for the local populace at Military Hospital, Antsiranana. A large number of personnel availed the facilities of the camp. The visit has enhanced the cooperation and mutual understanding between both the Navies.
