Pakistani Flag and Balloons Found in Border Fields of Sri Ganganagar; Security Agencies on Alert
Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan — In a high-alert incident from the India-Pakistan border region, a Pakistani national flag along with green and white balloons were recovered from an agricultural field near 51 LNP village in the Padampur sub-division of Sri Ganganagar district, Rajasthan.
The flag, bearing the crescent moon and star — a symbol of Pakistan — also had Urdu writings on it, the content of which is now under forensic and intelligence scrutiny. The items were first spotted by the field owner, who immediately alerted the local police station in Ghmudwali, under Padampur jurisdiction.
The police team reached the spot swiftly and took possession of the flag and the balloons. The incident has raised serious concerns in border security circles. The area lies just a few kilometers from the India-Pakistan international border, which is frequently monitored by the Border Security Force (BSF) due to its sensitive location and history of cross-border mischief.
According to local intelligence sources, such symbols are often used for psychological operations or to test local alertness and reaction time of Indian forces. In the past too, balloon-borne messages or flags have been found in border districts of Punjab and Rajasthan, suspected to be launched from across the border with intent to create panic or spread propaganda.
Top police officials and BSF units have now launched a joint investigation. The flag and balloons have been sent for forensic examination to trace the material origin and detect any hidden components like microchips, propaganda pamphlets, or coded language.
Senior officers haven’t ruled out the possibility of this being a test run or symbolic intrusion by Pakistani intelligence agencies or non-state actors supported by ISI. The presence of Urdu text on the flag makes it crucial to decode for any threats or embedded messages.
Security has been beefed up across the region with increased patrolling and drone surveillance. Villagers have also been advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.

श्रीगंगानगर (राजस्थान) — भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा से सटे श्रीगंगानगर जिले के पदमपुर उपखंड के 51 एलएनपी गांव के खेतों में पाकिस्तानी झंडा और हरे-सफेद गुब्बारे मिलने से सुरक्षा एजेंसियों में हड़कंप मच गया है।
झंडे पर पाकिस्तान का चिह्न — चांद और तारा बना हुआ है, और उसमें उर्दू में कुछ लिखा हुआ भी पाया गया है। इन चीजों को सबसे पहले खेत के मालिक ने देखा और तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी। सूचना मिलते ही घमुड़वाली पुलिस चौकी की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और झंडा व गुब्बारों को कब्जे में ले लिया।
घटना स्थल भारत-पाकिस्तान अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा से कुछ किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है, जहां पहले भी कई बार इस तरह की संदिग्ध गतिविधियां देखी जा चुकी हैं। ऐसे मामलों में अक्सर पाकिस्तान की तरफ से साइकोलॉजिकल वॉरफेयर यानी मानसिक दबाव बनाने के प्रयास देखे जाते हैं।
स्थानीय खुफिया सूत्रों के अनुसार, ये झंडे और गुब्बारे पाकिस्तान की ओर से भेजे गए हो सकते हैं, ताकि भारतीय क्षेत्र में दहशत फैलाई जा सके या प्रतिक्रिया समय को परखा जा सके। ऐसे प्रयास पहले पंजाब और राजस्थान के सीमावर्ती जिलों में देखे जा चुके हैं।
फिलहाल बीएसएफ और पुलिस की संयुक्त टीमों ने जांच शुरू कर दी है। झंडा और गुब्बारे को फॉरेंसिक जांच के लिए भेजा गया है ताकि इनके माध्यम से भेजे गए किसी चिप, दस्तावेज या कोड की पहचान की जा सके।
वरिष्ठ अधिकारी इस पूरे घटनाक्रम को पाक खुफिया एजेंसी या उसके समर्थन प्राप्त गैर-राज्य तत्वों की एक गुप्त गतिविधि के रूप में देख रहे हैं। उर्दू में लिखे गए शब्दों की जांच विशेष रूप से की जा रही है ताकि कोई गुप्त संदेश या धमकी न छिपी हो।
क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को और कड़ा कर दिया गया है, ड्रोन निगरानी और गश्त बढ़ा दी गई है। स्थानीय लोगों से अपील की गई है कि वे सतर्क रहें और किसी भी संदिग्ध वस्तु या गतिविधि की तुरंत सूचना पुलिस या सुरक्षा बलों को दें।
