Railway Employee Trapped in Pakistani Honeytrap, Leaked Sensitive Military Information to ISI for Money – Intelligence Arrests Him

Bikaner: A railway employee spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI has been arrested by Rajasthan Intelligence. The accused has been identified as Bhawani Singh, who was working as a pointman in the Indian Railways. He was trapped by a Pakistani woman through a honeytrap and leaked crucial military information.

Investigations revealed that Bhawani Singh had been in contact with a female Pakistani agent for several months. This connection was established through social media, where the woman posed as an Indian citizen and journalist. As the conversations deepened, she successfully lured Bhawani Singh into her trap. Eventually, driven by greed, he started sharing classified military information with Pakistan in exchange for money.

Tracked Down Under Secret Surveillance

Rajasthan Intelligence had been closely monitoring espionage activities being conducted by Pakistani agencies. During this surveillance, a suspicious phone call was traced, which led them to railway employee Bhawani Singh. Further investigation confirmed that he was transmitting confidential information to Pakistan’s ISI.

According to sources, Bhawani Singh was stationed at Mahajan railway station, a crucial hub for the movement of military personnel and equipment. Mahajan Field Firing Range is a key military training ground where large-scale exercises take place. The intelligence agencies discovered that Bhawani Singh had leaked sensitive military movement details to Pakistan and received payments in return from Pakistani handlers.

Arrested After Interrogation

Once intelligence agencies gathered solid evidence against Bhawani Singh, he was detained from Mahajan railway station on February 28 and brought to Jaipur for questioning. During interrogation, he admitted to his crime, following which he was formally arrested.

It was revealed that he had befriended a Pakistani female agent named Nimi on social media. Initially, their conversations seemed harmless, but over time, Nimi manipulated him into sharing classified military details. In return, he received money through different bank accounts.

Mahajan Field Firing Range and the Honeytrap Conspiracy

Mahajan Field Firing Range is one of India’s most important military training areas. Given its proximity to the Pakistan border, security is always a top priority.

Pakistani intelligence agencies often deploy honeytrap tactics in this region. They use young Pakistani women, who pose as journalists or social workers, to establish friendships with Indian military personnel and government employees. Over the past few years, several cases have surfaced where Indian soldiers, railway employees, and government officials were trapped in similar espionage activities.

Just last year, in February, a man named Vikram Singh, who ran a canteen at Mahajan Field Firing Range, was arrested for leaking military information. He, too, was in contact with Pakistani women who were working as intelligence agents.

Indian Intelligence Agencies on High Alert

Following this incident, Indian intelligence agencies have heightened their vigilance. Strict monitoring is being conducted on railway employees, military personnel, and other critical workers stationed in sensitive locations.

Sources have confirmed that Bhawani Singh’s mobile phone has been seized. His social media chats, bank transactions, and call records are being thoroughly investigated to identify other possible links in this espionage network.

Strict Action Against Those Endangering National Security

Government agencies have made it clear that espionage activities will not be tolerated. A case has been registered against Bhawani Singh under the Official Secrets Act and other relevant laws. If convicted, he could face severe punishment.

Security Agencies’ Appeal: Be Cautious on Social Media

Indian security agencies have urged citizens and government employees to exercise caution while interacting with strangers on social media, especially those claiming to be foreign journalists or researchers. Many Pakistani agents first establish friendships and then gradually extract classified information.

Railway employees and other government officials have been advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to authorities. This will help prevent any potential security threats and ensure that strict action is taken against those jeopardizing national security.

Conclusion

Bhawani Singh’s arrest once again highlights the persistent espionage threats from Pakistan’s intelligence agencies. While Indian security forces are actively countering these threats, public awareness is equally crucial. Maintaining caution, avoiding suspicious contacts, and reporting unusual activities are essential steps to safeguard national security.
