Sapta Shakti Command Holds High-Level Formation Commanders’ Conference in Jaipur, Focuses on Operational Preparedness, Modernisation and Technology-Driven Solutions

In a significant development aimed at enhancing India’s operational preparedness and national security posture, the Sapta Shakti Command of the Indian Army conducted its prestigious Formation Commanders’ Conference at Jaipur from 23 to 24 June 2025. The two-day high-level conference was chaired by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, and saw the participation of senior military leadership, including formation commanders and key operational planners from across the Command.

Focus on Current Security Scenario and Future Preparedness

The conference, held at the Sapta Shakti Command headquarters, served as a vital platform for in-depth discussions on the prevailing security environment, strategic challenges, and operational priorities in the Command’s area of responsibility, which encompasses critical regions in Rajasthan and the western front.

Over the course of two days, senior commanders and military experts reviewed the current security situation in the region, taking into account both conventional and non-conventional threats. They also deliberated on the evolving nature of warfare, including challenges arising from cyber threats, drone technology, hybrid warfare, and advancements in surveillance and communication systems.

Technology and Modernisation Take Centre Stage

A key highlight of the conference was the emphasis on adopting niche and cutting-edge technologies to bolster the Army’s operational capabilities. Army Commander Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh called for the integration of modern equipment and innovative technological solutions to effectively address the rapidly evolving threat paradigm.

“Modern warfare is dynamic, technology-intensive, and demands continuous innovation,” the Army Commander stated while addressing the formation commanders. He stressed upon the importance of systematic training programmes backed by comprehensive assessments to ensure that troops are prepared for all contingencies.

The conference laid special emphasis on cyber security, communication resilience, unmanned aerial platforms, artificial intelligence (AI) applications in defence, and advanced surveillance technologies. Commanders were also encouraged to incorporate indigenous solutions in line with the Government of India’s vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) in defence.

Operational Excellence and Success of Operation Sindoor Lauded

One of the defining moments of the conference was the Army Commander’s appreciation for all ranks and formations involved in the recently concluded Operation Sindoor, which was termed a successful and decisive military operation conducted under challenging circumstances in the Command’s area of responsibility.

Operation Sindoor, executed with exemplary coordination between Army, Air Force, and Border Security Forces across the western desert sector, demonstrated India’s enhanced offensive and defensive capabilities. The operation showcased seamless integration of modern technology, real-time intelligence sharing, and swift decision-making, establishing a new benchmark in joint military operations.

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh lauded the commitment, professionalism, and operational effectiveness displayed by troops during Operation Sindoor and urged formations to sustain the momentum with continued focus on training, adaptability, and innovation.

Dynamic Approach for Evolving Threats

The conference concluded with a resolute commitment to enhance operational readiness through a dynamic and innovative approach. The Army Commander exhorted the formations to adopt flexible strategies, leverage technological advancements, and prioritise comprehensive training to stay ahead of emerging threats, particularly along India’s sensitive western borders.

In the backdrop of heightened regional security challenges, the Sapta Shakti Command’s initiatives towards capability and capacity building, modernisation, and preparedness reaffirm the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

देश की सैन्य तैयारियों और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा को और सशक्त करने की दिशा में एक अहम कदम उठाते हुए भारतीय सेना की सप्त शक्ति कमांड ने जयपुर में 23 से 24 जून 2025 तक अपनी प्रतिष्ठित फॉर्मेशन कमांडर्स कॉन्फ्रेंस का आयोजन किया। इस दो दिवसीय उच्च स्तरीय सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता सप्त शक्ति कमांड के आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने की। इसमें कमांड के वरिष्ठ सैन्य अधिकारियों, फॉर्मेशन कमांडर्स एवं प्रमुख ऑपरेशनल योजनाकारों ने भाग लिया।

वर्तमान सुरक्षा स्थिति और भावी तैयारियों पर मंथन

जयपुर स्थित सप्त शक्ति कमांड मुख्यालय में आयोजित इस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा परिदृश्य, रणनीतिक चुनौतियों एवं ऑपरेशनल प्राथमिकताओं पर गहन विचार-विमर्श किया गया। राजस्थान और पश्चिमी सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय सुरक्षा खतरों के मद्देनजर सेना की तैयारियों की समीक्षा की गई।

दो दिन तक चले इस सम्मेलन में पारंपरिक और गैर-पारंपरिक खतरों, साइबर हमलों, ड्रोन तकनीक, हाइब्रिड वारफेयर और आधुनिक निगरानी एवं संचार प्रणालियों से जुड़ी चुनौतियों पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई।

आधुनिकीकरण एवं तकनीकी नवाचार पर विशेष जोर

कॉन्फ्रेंस में इस बात पर जोर दिया गया कि भारतीय सेना को अत्याधुनिक उपकरणों और नवीनतम तकनीकों से सुसज्जित किया जाए ताकि बदलते खतरों का प्रभावी रूप से सामना किया जा सके। आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने कहा कि आधुनिक युद्ध तेजी से बदल रहा है, इसमें तकनीक की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है और इसके लिए निरंतर नवाचार आवश्यक है।

उन्होंने योजनाबद्ध प्रशिक्षण और व्यापक मूल्यांकन के महत्व को रेखांकित करते हुए कहा कि हर परिस्थिति के लिए सैनिकों को तैयार रखना समय की मांग है। साथ ही उन्होंने स्वदेशी तकनीकों को अपनाने और ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ अभियान के तहत रक्षा क्षेत्र में देश की क्षमताओं को सशक्त करने पर जोर दिया।

साइबर सुरक्षा, सुरक्षित संचार प्रणाली, मानव रहित हवाई प्लेटफॉर्म्स, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और उन्नत निगरानी प्रणालियों के इस्तेमाल पर भी चर्चा की गई।

ऑपरेशन सिंदूर की सफलता की सराहना

कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान आर्मी कमांडर ने हाल ही में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में शामिल सभी अधिकारियों और सैनिकों की सराहना की। इस निर्णायक सैन्य अभियान ने राजस्थान से सटी पश्चिमी सीमा पर भारत की सामरिक एवं सामूहिक क्षमताओं का उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया।

ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के दौरान सेना, वायुसेना और सीमा सुरक्षा बल के बीच बेहतरीन तालमेल देखने को मिला। आधुनिक तकनीक, वास्तविक समय पर खुफिया सूचना साझा करने और तेज निर्णय प्रक्रिया के कारण यह ऑपरेशन एक मील का पत्थर साबित हुआ।

आर्मी कमांडर ने सभी फॉर्मेशन्स को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि इसी उत्साह और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ निरंतर प्रशिक्षण और तकनीकी नवाचार के माध्यम से ऑपरेशनल दक्षता को और बेहतर किया जाए।

लचीली रणनीति और उभरते खतरों से निपटने का संकल्प

कॉन्फ्रेंस का समापन इस संकल्प के साथ हुआ कि भारतीय सेना उभरते खतरों का मुकाबला करने के लिए अधिक लचीली रणनीति, अत्याधुनिक तकनीक और व्यापक प्रशिक्षण को अपनाएगी। आर्मी कमांडर ने विशेष रूप से पश्चिमी सीमाओं पर सुरक्षा चुनौतियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए हर परिस्थिति के लिए तत्पर और सक्षम रहने का आह्वान किया।

सप्त शक्ति कमांड की इस पहल से स्पष्ट है कि भारतीय सेना राष्ट्र की संप्रभुता और क्षेत्रीय अखंडता की रक्षा के प्रति पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है और किसी भी खतरे का मुंहतोड़ जवाब देने में सक्षम है।
