▪️It wouldn’t be inaccurate to call Afghanistan a sanctuary for terrorists.

▪️The Afghan Taliban have played a direct role in providing safe havens for terrorists to spread instability in the region.

▪️The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other terrorist organizations are not only given shelter by the #Afghan Taliban, but they also receive financial support.

▪️The Afghan Taliban have emerged as the masterminds behind ongoing terrorism and insecurity in the region.

▪️The TTP and the 1SK, led by the Afghan Taliban, have established their safe havens in Afghanistan.

▪️The entire region, particularly #Pakistan, has suffered the most from terrorism originating in Afghanistan.

▪️The arrest of Afghan terrorists in Pakistan are clear evidence that the Afghan Taliban are not taking serious action against terrorism.

▪️International leaders have also highlighted the presence of terrorists in Afghanistan.

▪️At a meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Kazakhstan, the discussion focused on the threat posed by Afghan-based terrorism.

▪️The biggest threat to the region comes from extremist terrorist groups operating out of Afghanistan, according to the Russian Defense Minister.

▪️The Afghan Taliban have repeatedly claimed that Afghan territory won’t be used against other countries, but the reality on the ground tells a different story.

▪️This statement from the Russian Defense Minister clearly indicates that terrorism flourishing in Afghanistan has caught the world’s attention.

🔺It’s time for international powers to take action against terrorist attacks originating from Afghan soil. If they don’t, this scourge of terrorism could spread throughout the entire region.
