▪️ In the largest seizure of its kind in #Pakistan’s history, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has intercepted a massive consignment of 224 kilograms of methamphetamine, commonly known as meth ice, intended for smuggling to Belgium.

▪️The drug shipment was being transported under the guise of soapstone exports from #Afghanistan.

▪️According to an ANF spokesperson, the narcotics were first smuggled into Karachi from Torkham, Afghanistan, and hidden in the roof and doors of five separate containers. The authorities have taken all five containers into custody at Karachi Port.

▪️ANF has arrested three suspects linked to the smuggling operation, including two from Afghanistan, who sent the container.

▪️The suspects were apprehended while attempting to flee to Afghanistan through the Torkham border.

▪️The ANF’s successful operation underscores the agency’s commitment to combating drug trafficking and protecting the #world from the harmful effects of narcotics.

This major bust represents a significant step in the fight against international drug smuggling.
