Pakistan Army neutralises 11 terrorists in separate KP operations

ISPR reaffirms steadfast commitment of security forces to eradicate menace of terrorism from country

The Pakistan Army killed eleven terrorists in two different operations in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media wing said on Monday.

A press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the operations, strategically planned based on credible intelligence, targeted areas suspected of harbouring terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan.

In the first incident, a meticulously executed intelligence-based operation in DI Khan led to a fierce exchange of fire, culminating in the neutralization of ten terrorists.

These militants were known for their involvement in heinous attacks against both security forces and civilians, posing a grave threat to peace and stability in the region.

Simultaneously, in North Waziristan, security forces engaged in a crucial encounter that resulted in the elimination of another terrorist, further denting the capabilities of anti-state elements operating in the area.

The operations not only succeeded in eliminating the immediate threat posed by these terrorists but also resulted in the recovery of a significant cache of arms and ammunition, disrupting potential future attacks and preserving the safety of innocent lives.

The commendable actions of the security forces received widespread appreciation from the local populace, underscoring the vital role played by the military in safeguarding communities against the scourge of terrorism.

The ISPR reaffirmed the steadfast commitment of the security forces to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country, emphasizing their relentless pursuit of peace and security for all citizens.
